Geneisis says that all animlas were created "according to their kind". If he had created just the simplist of life and just sat back to see what would come of them, all by chance, then the book of Genesis is wrong and would all be lies.

Even Star Wars has a better philosohpy on life than the JW's, but that's my opinion, you won't read it in the papers. Probably doesn't have as much spin to it, eh?

If we consider the last hundred posts in this forum starting from the latest, should we consider those to be pure chance or were they induced by the posts, thoughts, or actions of another(s)?
What you or at least your peers would call "chance" in evolution is a naive way of looking at the situation; indeed each 'chance' event is a response to an ensemble of other events.
- If an environment serves better those creatures in species 1 who have trait X and penalises those with trait Y, then the response will be that X proliferates.
- In doing so this then makes trait Z in another species (species 2) (who are competing with species 1 either as predators, prey, or neighbours) better than some trait W, and so this over time becomes a dominant trait in species 2
- in response to the increasing number of creatures in species 2 possessing trait Z (and lacking W) those in species 1 with traits X and X1 will out perform those with only trait X.
- in response, those in species 2 who have either traits Z1 or Z2 will out perform those who don't and supposing neither gives a catastrophic advantage over the other, both these traits spread into the population- serving as a branch point for two separate lines of traits refinement in the future (effectively 2 different species)
- as this game continues over many generations species 1 and 2, 1a, 2a, 1b, 2b, and so on... will be distinct from their distant ancestors.
- and so this game continues with countless many different species over 3.5 billion years.
"Chance" as I expect you mean it has not occured.
