Do you mean you get some sort of "certificate" validating your spiritual opinions on account of the fact that you share the exact same opinions as 7 or so million other members of you organization? Do you actually get a document of some kind that says your opinions are "certified"?

So if I were to hear or read JW material that claimed that a person needs to be a JW in order to be a Christian, and that this is because the bible shows it to be so, you will not endorse it?

How do claim that your opinion is "certified" by the Bible? Seems a peculiar choice of word. Anyone can make the claim that their "opinion" is "certified". For this reason, "self-certified opinion" doesn't really mean anything, robbie.

to this are those persons whose only basis for their opinions is their self, which is fine,
for each one has to make an evaluation with their own mind, but the distinction is clear.

Originally posted by robbie carrobieBut I'm talking about this odd expression yours: "self-certified opinion". You see your opinions as being "certified" in some way because they are unoriginal? I don't really see many people here, who express their opinions, claiming that those opinions are "certified" in any way, and yet you do. It's also odd for you to try to dismiss an opinion you disagree with by claiming that its "only basis" is their "self" when in fact it is most likely based on many things, including facts and interpretations etc. When it comes to an opinion, you say "each [person] has to make an evaluation with their own mind". Does this not apply to you too?
