Sonship keeps describing legal abortions as 'genocide' apparently because he
equates a non-viable fetus (even a fertilized egg) with a human being.
Science does NOT assert that a fertilized egg ALREADY is a human being.

This hypocrite postures like she is so much for what scientists say. Try to get her to talk about the known psychological wounds inflicted on many women who latter regret not following through the mothering process.

"Study in prestigious journal shows abortion harms women's mental health" screamed the headline at an antiabortion website. The posting went on to say that this conclusion was based on "the largest, most definitive analysis of the mental health risks associated with abortion, synthesizing the results of 22 studies published between 1995 and 2009 involving 877,181 women, of whom 163,831 had abortions."
The website provided a fairly accurate summary of the claims of Priscilla Coleman of Bowling Green State University, the author of the meta-analyses published in what the website termed the "prestigious British Journal of Psychiatry." Namely:

"Women who have had an abortion have an 81 percent higher risk of subsequent mental health problems compared to women who have not had an abortion.

"Women who aborted have a 138 percent higher risk of mental health problems compared to women who have given birth.

"Women who aborted have a 55 percent higher risk of mental health problems compared to women with an 'unplanned' pregnancy who gave birth.

@Duchess64
That's how I read it.

The post that was quoted here has been removed
In this moment, Duchess is rage pooping in the forums because someone has only admitted to saying "abortion is genocide" once.

It's absolutely vital to her that it has been more than once.

@Philokalia

Actually the word I meant to use was holocaust.

I'm cheking now on all my comments about abortion on this thread. I think I used "genocide" once. I'm either right or I'm wrong.

Here's my count.
1.)

Should I assume you are also an anti-abortion activist, or at least very displeased with the millions of unborn women slaughtered in the wombs of women in more "civilized" modern societies ?

No "word "genocide" there.

2.)
So you and Cassiadr are both in favor of the mass termination of millions of unborn women since Roe V Wade ?

Are you pro-choice to kill them off by the millions ?
That's not genocide?

There - "genocide" used in my question to Cassadra.
count 1.

3.)
I think this is the way you sooth your conscience for supporting the extermination of millions of unborn women, by dismissing the women as just recently fertilized eggs.

What strong man are you standing behind who filled your head with that excuse?

Word "genocide" not used.

4.)
There is no promise of exterminating to extinction the Assyrians or the Egyptians as in genocidal ethnic cleansing.

The word "genocidal" used here but not in connection with abortion.

5.)
Compare the 32,000 saved girls who would marry rather into a foreign people to the millions unborn women reduced to "fertilized eggs" whose executions were approved of by feminists since Roe v Wade. Not to mention the psychological damage upon the women who have been convinced to murder their babies.

More "civilized" we are then Israel of the Old Testament Duchess64?

No use of the word "genocide" here.
But I did mention "murder".

6.)
Do you have a similar feeling to the trauma of a woman contemplating that she has just killed her baby in the popular genocide of "on demand" abortions ?

count 2.
I stand corrected. Here I did write "genocide" for the second time.
Duchess64 is write in that I used it more than once.
Let's see if there's another.

My apologize for saying I thought I used it only once. I thought I remembered one occurrence.

7.)
On the side: Pro Choice is ok with me as a law of a modern society. However awareness that abortion is not as GOOD of a choice, as some make it out to be, should accompany the freedom of choice.

Too many are painting a too rosy picture of the effect of a woman terminating the life she is carrying in her womb.

Some of the selective outrage expressed here though is hypocritical.

Spoke again on abortion but no mention of genocide.

8.)
Sonship, me, used the word "genocide" concerning the millions of unborn women aborted once in this discussion as far as I remember - ONE TIME.

Sonship did not KEEP continuing referring to the abortion on demand since Roe V Wade .as genocide.

And I'll tell you what. I may have used in improperly. So I withdraw the remark.

Here I used it in saying I think it may not be the word I should have used.

Readers my now pass judgment if they like.
Calling Duchess64 a liar was offensive. But IMO she exaggerates though how much effort I devoted here to abortion (genocide or no).

Now, the LAST judgment, will be God's.
If God judges abortion on demand as genocide or holocaust or murder or mercy killing or euthanasia or removing unwanted tissue, that will be the last word.

We will all find out.
I do know that there is salvation, understanding, forgiveness, and justification in Jesus Christ.

PS. The fathers should know all this especially also.

I think from here on out we can expect Duchess64 to portray herself as having some moral highground on the Forum.

Like - "Whatever you say is hate speech" kind of self righteousness.

An Art Film about Abortion.

Whatever Happened to the Human Race? By Franky Schaeffer and the late Francis Schaeffer.

Don't say I didn't show both sides of Schaeffer's thoughts (who now says he's an atheist who believes in God). He now hates that he was a part of the movement he says he fueled to start. Franky's second thoughts about the pro-life movement.

In this discussion, she 'does' have the moral high ground.

You seriously want to dredge up the whole 'divine remedy' thing again?!

Thought not.

Good morning. Been away from the boards for awhile.

Please explain in brief but reasonably clear words why you think Duchess64 has the high moral ground in this thread. Especially from the perspective of Atheism.
