If I perceived her words at me as having 'a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility' why would I not be justified in thinking she was angry? For the record, I don't perceive any of her words that she has written to me that way so I can conclude that she is not angry at me.

Thanks to the dictionary definition, you now know that I am not angry. You perceived that I am, but I am not. At RHP I haven't been angry for about 8 years. Do you still think I am actually angry despite me saying this?

Do you think Suzianne is ever angry when she addresses a post to me?

It's a tricky question. Have you ever lied in the last 8 years? If you are human you must have. How do I know that you aren't lying about not being angry?

Based on the dictionary definition you are 'angry' when you exhibit 'a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility'. I am not going to lie and say that I don't sense a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility in your words.

You should ask her if she is.

So you have difficulty perceiving anger, it seems.

Does it make you feel angry?

Oh well, I don't feel strong annoyance, displeasure, or hostility, so if you think I am actually angry, then you are mistaken.

Nope why should it?

Forget your feelings for a second. Why should someone who perceives your words as having a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility be wrong in their perception when the perception is theirs and not yours?

No, I don't think it should. Stuff that goes on here doesn't make me angry either.

When then do you think Suzianne is angry?

Your mistaken perception - that I was angry when I posted - was mistaken. And now you have been set straight. Now you know I don't feel anger. Do you still perceive me to be actually angry? Do you think I am angry as I type this?

So you say, how do I know that you are not lying?
