Humanism is a direct enemy of Christianity. Humanism and the Church of Satan believes that you can do anything you want, just as long as no one else gets hurt. However, that is NOT what the Bible teaches. We are commande ...[text shortened]... Humanism/humanism_is_evil.htm

Hunanism seems like the religion of the Atheist, dosen't it?
So basically humanism is evil because it promotes the exercise of one's rational faculties; because it promotes thinking for oneself?

It's rather pathetic to see someone so terrified of intellectual freedom.

Atheism isn't a religion, and therefore cannot have 'teachings'.
As for what I, as an individual atheist teach, the main message is 'the Truth will set you free'.

This has to be a troll post.

Atheist taking a bible quote as atheism´s main message.

The atheist or humanist should fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell.

So the atheist should fear something he doesn't believe exists?

In other news you should fear unicorns, since that horn is sharp and they have the power to impale you.

Believing something does not exist is no guarantee it doesn't.

By the way the unicorn mentioned in the Holy Bible refers to a one-horned Rhinoceros.

It is however a guarantee that you can't be scared of it.
So, do you fear unicorns or don't you?

Not believing you exist still leaves you with a mother and father.

So I guess you aren't willing to admit that you aren't actually scared of unicorns?

I am not scared of Rhinoceros unicornis presently sitting at my computer in my house. However, I might be scared of them if I were near them. Who knows?

No, believing you exist only guarantees that something exists that is capable of believing stuff. It guarantees nothing about how that thing came to be.

"I think, therefore I am" is all that it says.

I said nothing about rhinoceros'. I am talking about the unicorns from fairy tales that right now are lurking in your garden ready to pounce at any time. Are you scared?
