Wow, your logic is inescapable. I still think mankind will go extinct one day since we occupy no special place on the cosmic stage. It happened to the dinosaurs, it is happening to a lot of life forms on Earth as we speak, we are not so unique as to expect to escape that destiny.

More like, 'God, you are a cosmic level assshole' at his dying breath. Then, no more humans alive. Earth goes on quite well without us, repairing the damage done by uncaring rampant humans, which takes a few thousand years but eventually all is well on Earth. AND without your evil god.

Homo sapiens sapiens is the pinnacle of evolution and the exact reason for initiating evolution in the first place. Time has required billions of years to place us on this planet. Yes, we're unique, and we are the reason God went through all this trouble. And no, God won't let us become extinct. But Judgement is coming way, WAY before extinction, never fear.
