@secondson saidSome guys did it - pulled their trousers down - in the college bar back in the day. Drunken high jinx.
Your reality.
@secondson saidWell, well. This has taken an interesting turn. Is there something you want to say to me about yourself?
What will you do when some big mouth bullying thug backs you against the wall, and you know he's going to hurt you really bad?
Wet your pants?
@secondson saidTell me more about you and your environment.
You must be living in a sheltered environment.
@fmf saidWe're talking about you, not me.
Tell me more about you and your environment.
You've expressed your disdain for online bullys and people projecting alter egos based on disinhibition syndrome.
Are you sure you're not having feelings about wanting to defend yourself, but are too timid?
There's a difference between 'talking' online and 'doing' in reality.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidSo I trolled divegeester when I mentioned something that he clearly described for everybody, by his own volition, but you weren't trolling me when you kept on bringing up something repeatedly that I had described?
'You' clearly described for everybody, by your own volition, a situation of clear psychological abuse where, along with other things, you spoke about the brainwashing that had occurred.
On what basis was psychological abuse incorrect? The description (if correct) was your own.
@secondson saidWell, I think online threats of violence are pathetic - in a debate, it's a really rather tragic raising of the rhetorical white flag. You concur, presumably?
You've expressed your disdain for online bullys and people projecting alter egos based on disinhibition syndrome.
@secondson said"Defend" myself in online discussions? What are you talking about?
Are you sure you're not having feelings about wanting to defend yourself, but are too timid?
@secondson saidHere is a discussion about it from not so long ago: Thread 176955
Disinhibition syndrome is a simple enough concept relevant to this forum in that posters tend to say things, and say them in a way, not consistent with how they would speak in a setting where anonymity wasn't the rule.
