I don't believe he did, and I do not know what the writer of genesis meant.

He is not materail,
Information must be stored in something, so he must be made of something.

We are animals, so no, nothing 'separates us'.

Most animals I know are capable of reasoning.

You claim that we have the capacity to tell good from bad, yet when I asked you whether war was good or bad you didn't respond "look into your heart and you will know" you instead referred to the Bible.
If you and I disagree about whether a particular item is good or bad then does one of us lack reason?

No it's not using our reason properly, like you have hands but if you murder someone with them you are not using them properly, I think it depends, sometimes war can be good, sometimes it's bad.
