I tend to read rwingett's posts more often as they tend to be shorter than #1's. Actually I am accused of being one of the bullies at times. In short, their battles belong to them. If I am singled out for something, I will respond or try to get some clarification as I did with Darfius the other day.
Maybe you, Kirk, should speak out against disrespectfull behaviour by streetfighters like No1, Rwingett and other bullies when they are acting out their unacceptable and insulting behaviour ....... You are always silent and NEVER supporting those who are being bullied. Why not ? Are you afraid of receiving the same treatment from the bullies ? Are you afr ...[text shortened]... ogether with evangelicals, with prosylitisers ? Why do you never speak out against the bullies ?

OK, but by virtue that this is the internet, isn't everyone "out on the streets."
Not really. Had RHP similar moderation stances as some other online forums, there really would be no issue at all. You may be surprised at the amount of Athiests at christianforums.com. It is quite a pleasant and diverse forum to frequent, particularly as disrespecting anyone's faith results in suspension. It is common courtecy. Much like you abstain from making ugly baby jokes in a maternal ward...

You happen to like them, the bullies, I see. That's why you get 'm let away with it and you have the audacity to ask in this forum "How will it (the Spirituality forum) provide an environment for mutual respect of atheist and theists."
You are a coward Kirk and a hypocrite of sorts.

Get lost Cribs. Return to your gossip site.
I will follow my shepherd wherever he may lead me. If it is his will to lead me
from here to the gossip site, so be it. Perhaps he will lead you there as well.
Would you follow your shepherd if you lead you to the gossip site, or would
you refuse his guidance?

I think I took a rock up side my head.
EDIT: Does anybody know whether valiant Captain Kirk is bald ?

Actually, for once, ivanhoe is actually making sense. He is merely reacting to having his ideas segragated. All he is saying in a rather strange way can be put simply like thus: "How would you like your ideas segregated?"
I don't agree with ivanhoe's ideas or even his discussion tactics, but that does not mean he deserves to be put in a cage, no matter how "equal" that cage is.
Down with the whiners.

that post on them least anyone get offended by someone else's

I dont find anything, anyone says offensive.
Irritating, annoying even, sometimes stupid, yes, but not offensive.
I found it irritating that whenever I went to debates, over half the posts were on religous topics. I found it annoying that even in the non-religous topics there were religous discussions taking place.
Worst of all was the stupid fighting taking place about the quantity and relevance of all that religous content which was almost as overwhelming as the religous posts themselves.
I dont have anything against religous topics, I'm here aren't I? But I dont want every debate to include everyone's religous perspective, I dont want every debate to include everybodies perspective on the relevance of the religous perspective and I certainly am not intrested in reading a bunch of incompetent personal attacks.
Now I know where to go for the things I want and I dont have to scroll through all the childish bickering to find it.
Now if I should want to find the childish bickering I know where to go (for the next few months anyway), any thread started by DrScribbles...

Disclaimer: Please dont consider this request a stop doing what you are doing, the opportunities for competent personal attacks in threads where no one has a problem with them is too juicy to pass up. In fact, please continue with your worthless crusade...

But then I'm a fast reader and anyway I chose spend my time elsewhere rather than expect any kind of worthwhile debate to take place.
That only leaves the people for whom it was a problem...
Tell me, was it fun having a debates forum full of unhappy people?
