What utter rubbish.

Here are just a few of the many many times disciples, apostles, and EVEN GOD HIMSELF called Jesus Christ THE SON OF GOD, in the New Testament :

Disciples said :

Mat_14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Mat_16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, ...[text shortened]... an spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
That proves He is God. How can the Son of God not also be God?
How can the son of man not be man? Was not Jesus both son of man
and Son of God?

Were you not aware that the New Testament is written in Greek and
not Hebrew? The Greeks conquered Israel long before Jesus was born
to Mary.
In any language GOD and the SON OF GOD, are two separate and distinct entities.

Dios y el Hijo de Dios

Dieu et le Fils de Dieu

It is the Father and the Son that is the distinction. There is no distinction
in God. And God can not be separated. There only one God and there
is no dividing or separating God into parts. Sometimes when Jesus, the Son,
spoke of the Father He called Him God. The Father also called the Son, God.

But of the Son He says,

“YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER,
AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

Letter to the Hebrews 1:8

This refers to the Old Testament Psalms 45:6-7

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of joy above Your fellows.

And again.

Divegeesters point was lost in all the bitterness and ad hominem, but, just to make it clear: The Jews wouldn't have wanted Jesus dead if His claim was something innocuous or silly. Obviously when Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I AM," He implied something very deep and serious...

Maybe, he is saying they were going to stone Jesus for his use of incorrect
grammar. 😀

He must consider using incorrect grammar a very serious offense back in
those days. 😀

I had second thoughts. I had "The Mighty Pair" for a title. I didn't want to offend anyone. Back to the confederate flag? 😕

Indonesian: Allah or Tuhan or Yaweh for God, and Anak Allah or Putra Allah (or whichever word for God you choose to use) for Son of God.
