Why is Christianity in the US dying

Spirituality

Atheism is going viral.
So it must be true. Is that it Divegeester ?

Lots more people in the US are indicating something like "I am not religious but I am spiritual." So that means Christianty is dying on the vine.

Is that where we are Dive?

How can anyone show you something that has not happen yet?
So you're saying you are very, very, very sure it IS GOING to happen?

What does this have to do with your claims about "unforgiven" non-believers being tortured in burning flames for eternity?
Our beginnings show us where we started and fills in what is and isn’t important. If all we are, are nothing but highly evolved pond scum, or something that squirmed out from underneath a rock; that is totally different than being made in the image of God.

Based on the scriptures yes.

Do you think I have a lot of letters after my name?
As I said unimportant.

I am open-minded about the existence of a creator entity.
What do you lean to? Does it fit reality as you see it?

People like you and your Bible-inspired eternal torture moral nonsense are not "reality makers".
It’s not me that matters or even who agrees about that topic, is it true?

@fmf said
No, I don't just stick my head in the sand. If you've asked me this question 100 times, I've given you a point-blank answer 100 times.
Which is?

It hasn't changed. And yes, it very much fits with my perception of reality. If you're going to suddenly go passive aggressive on me - do "a dj2becker" - and pretend that you remember nothing from our previous conversations, I'm not interested. My perspective hasn't changed. We talked about it in February. We talked about it in January. We talked about it in 2021, 2020...

You give me no credible reason to think it is.

Why did you suddenly mention people with "a lot of letters after their names"? Do you have some chip on your shoulder about something?

Are you going to spend a couple of posts just telling me we have talked about it or remind me and get it over with?

Reasoning requires looking at things, taking evidence and all views to think things through. You dismiss many things said to you out of hand without ever addressing the ramifications being voiced. The whole thing on either side has reasons when we accept things by definition, where we have declared it so or not just because; therefore, that is not by reason we are not seriously looking at them.

Let's just leave it, then. You "can't remember" is just a gimmick, just you posturing. It's something you and I have discussed dozens of times.

Be that as it may, uou give me no credible reason to think that your personal opinions about supernatural things describe the reality in which we live.
