This sounds profound, but how would it ever actually work? 'Being gay' presumably at least means having certain impulses and psychological states. And didn't Jesus say that to hold such impulses makes one guilty of sin, regardless of whether or not one acts on those thoughts (e.g., merely animal-lusting after another's wife is adulterous)? So under your views, how can you really divorce 'being gay' from sin?
EDIT:
Mat 5:28 "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."
Nope. They would need to be qualified and employd.
So if someone is a virgin they have no sexuality?
To me, unless you've engaged in some sexual act to label you "gay" or "straight" is meaningless. What you'd like to do at any particular time is pretty irrelevant.
"Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;and the peace of God wich surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
I hope these words speak to you brotha' Kirk.
TheSkipper
Professa Skippy, have these words guided you through this kind of travail?

So ATM I am gay because even thow I dont enjoy it I engage in sexual acts with a male?

You question should be.
Do those who do not ever get to know about the Gospel go to heaven?
Sense the Gospel talks about Jesus coming to save, not for us to do good works to get to heaven sense Jesus said only God is good.

So there could be gays there when we get to heaven? Will it be perfect with them there?

But you see when you come to Jesus you turn from your wicked ways.
They will not be gay anymore.
There will be people who murdered people to in heaven, example would be Moses.

I see. So there can't really be any gay Christians, correct? Because once you're Christian, you won't want to be gay anymore.
What about the people that claim to be both gay and Christian? Are they lying, or confused, or what? Maybe the devil has entered their hearts pretending to be the Holy Spirit. Does that ever happen?

Wouldn't it be strange if you had to take communion next to a gay?
To answer the origional question properly we must first look at the following issues in Christianity:
1. Are there different levels of sin. For example are murder and sodomy somehow a more damning sin than say lying and cheating or inherited sin.
2. To what extent is desire for another person (even in the heterosexual sense) a sin. Lust tends to imply intentional desire where as we all experience some desire when we see a beautiful woman (when talking about a homosexual male). Do we sin merely by the feelings we experience (without choice) when we see someone of the opposite sex (heterosexual) or is it only when we willfully lust? How does this fit in with the concept of free will? Obviously one would need to look at the origional language (greek?) to get a better understanding of what Jesus said about lust.
If you believe that Homosexuals will no longer be homosexual once they become Christian or once they enter heaven does this mean that heterosexuals will also loose thier sexuality or do homosexuals become heterosexual? Is your sexuality independant of the soul?
