Argh!
You just said the desire to sin is sin!
Look, when you go ask your pastor or theology professor (or whomever you look up to theologically) here is what you need to have him or her explain.
Tell him/her that you met this guy on RHP whose theology is thus:
If God is holding me accountable for the sin of Adam by cursing him an ...[text shortened]... hat the magic book is wrong could lead to all sorts of realities you are likely unprepared for.

Well, Israelites could. The rest weren't told how to do it properly.

From Exodus on, the Old Testament is focused on the Israelites. They got the ten commandments. They got the ark of the covenant. They got the priests and all the laws on how to sacrifice animals.
Other cultures and peoples were labeled 'idolatrous' or 'wicked', and killed by the thousands. Your claim that God distributed knowledge equally to all cultures is bunk.

caused Adam and Eve to make mistakes?
Where did it come from? It came from God, who created them.

It came from a subtle and crafty serpent....
The inclination to accept the advice of the serpent was ultimately a
creation of God.
Had God created individuals capable of following ONE (of two) SIMPLE

So, God didn't know what was going to happen? He 'gambled?!'
God couldn't have made us with a disposition to ignore serpents? That
would have removed our free will?
Do you think that Adam was created without any sin predisposition at all
(an inclination to sin or an inclination to avoid sin)?

I already admitted my error about gambling in the post above...😕
God had to let us see both sides in order to choose. Adam was made without sin, but he had the choice. So was Jesus, but Jesus made the right choice.

predisposition not to sin (a better understanding of God, a clearer sense
of right and wrong, &c)?
