You find it perfectly reasonable that you are being held responsible for Adam eating the wrong piece of fruit thousands of years ago? Furthermore, you buy all this insanity because your magic book tells you its all true?

My, my.

Yeah, God was mighty pissed off the day he discovered Adam had sinned. Really messed things up for the rest of us. I lament both Adam's irrational decision to do the one thing he was told not to do, and God's apparent innability to control his anger.
before adam sinned there was no free will right?

It is my understanding that the magic book indicates both Adam and Eve had free will at the time of the consumption of the forbidden fruit.

Well, God made sure to punish serpents too during his holy temper tantrum.

Yeah, so they should have been punished. How I am responsible for what Adam did is beyond me.
What was the crime? Curiosity?

Is it reasonable to expect Adam and Eve to obey on pain of death, when they'd never experienced death?

What if they'd eaten of the tree of life first, and then the tree of knowledge? What a pickle God would have found himself in.

Why didn't he stop it? Are you telling me that God just stood idly by and let the entire human race be damned? What does that say about his character?
