There's only one game I'm watching this weekend. 😀

Ok, two - I'm not so sure Ok. St. isn't going to knock off Texas, but we'll see.

I only wish these two games were not on at the same time! There's other good games, though.Florida at Georgia should be quite good! I think Georgia will knock off FL!

That is a ridiculous staement to make. Especially in light of the trememdous number of upsets and near upsets. Georgia could upset Florida because like it or not, Florida is not as good this year as they were last year. They have been nearly upset twice so far this year.

See? I told you so. The spread was the right one. TP settled down and played lights out after a shaky start. Too little too late perhaps but a credible effort nonetheless. Now if only no1marauder would come back for egg in his face lumps. he's been away for a while. Bama almost coughed it up against an unranked team. Will this be reflected in the polls? ...[text shortened]... ranked team should look. Officiating was much better after the suspensions of those SEC bozos.
Egg on my face for what exactly? The SEC is tough and deep but Alabama is still undefeated and it seems likely they'll meet the Gators in the SEC Championship with a berth in the BCS Championship game on the line. I still find your constant whining about officiating detestable; no one is claiming that officials don't make mistakes, but crybabies like you moan about a call or two in every close game making it seem like the games are decided by officials and not the players. Such an attitude is childish and poor sportsmanship.

Poor sportsmanship? BTW I was rooting for neither team, but love upsets. Those two calls were highway robbery. You don't think 30 unearned yards made any difference? This did not make the Gator win a sure thing? Wipe the egg off your face first then comment. If it made no difference why suspend the crew. After all according to your criteria no one is perfect and errors are made. They should not have only suspended the crew but not allow them back until after Lasik surgery!

Uh, in his defense, the "call or two" that he "whines" about, happened to skew the result of the game. When that happens, and the wrong team is "gifted" a win courtesy of the zebras, it merits some serious whining and skepticism.

Had the calls gone against Alabama and Florida and produced reversals in the winner's column, you would have been crying like a little girl, giving your excuses that you weren't wrong, you were robbed. Well in these cases, you were wrong, but you were saved bad bad officiating.

Yours is the voice of reason short circuit! Thanks for coming in my defense, although I don't quite understand how no1marauder can say I whined. I may be many things, but I'm no whiner! Just a simple sports fanatic who calls em as he sees em. Thanks, again, however!

Why lie? I don't complain about officiating and I'm not a Florida or Alabama fan. What a bunch of jerks are on this site.

Don't sell yourself short. You have been the top jerk on this site for years.

I didn't lie. I also didn't say you complained about officiating. What I did say was that you would have used it as an excuse for your prediction being wrong. You have done it before when it suits you. I also know you are not an Alabama fan or a Florida fan. You pick your flavor of the month and ride them until they sputter. Hawaii & Colt Brennen (by the way, when was he going to be a starting QB anywhere in the NFL?). Boise State is another of your charities. You were a Notre Dame guy for a while. You have been a Yankees fan and a Reds rooter. I remember when you said USC would clean Texas' clock too (That didn't happen either). Yes, I have several vivid memories of you, and there are many others who will recall others as well.

Another upset last night! WVU loses to SF! It is perhaps a perverse pleasure to love upsets, but a pleasure nonetheless. I hope the football gods bring FL Gators down and protect Texas! However, TX may be ripe for an upset although I think they'll pull through tonight!

Like I said, Georgia has no chance in Hades in beating Florida. Nice try Nancy. 😉

It was close for a while there, but the BUlldogs seem turnover happy. Admit you were nervous when it was 14-10! Hades is cooler now that global warming seems on the ropes!

I'm not sure who Nancy is, but I will answer on her behalf.

Great call!! While they didn't beat Florida, they did have a chance to do so.

My Ducks totally owned USC. Right now the top teams are breathing a sign of relief because Boise St. beat Oregon on our first game.
