USC LOST!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Any day USC loses is a good day. Congrats to the Ducks, and by 27 points? 😲

Of course, after watching the game, and enjoying it thoroughly, the only question I have is how are they going to get into the NCG to face Florida when Texas is ahead of them and plays such a soft schedule? Now I know Texas just beat OSU, but sorry, I just don't respect OSU as most probably do, or for that matter, the rest of the Big 12 this year.

You should have watched the Texas-OSU game instead of the Oregon-USC game. Maybe your opinion might be different. USC has not been the same team they have in years past. We have seen too many close calls and now a couple of losses. Oregon is a good team, no doubt, but, the lost to Boise State??? OSU has lost two games, both to ranked teams, UT and UH, yet you elect to discredit them.

I was flipping between the OU/USC game, and it was a blowout (USC is down this year, no doubt about that). I'm not sure if I could have watched the Texas game or not, not sure if it was programmed for my area, but anyway, they seem impressive. OSU is a solid team that have had a lot of unfortunate breaks. If they had beaten Houston I think opinions of them would be different (Houston is ranked, but barely won today and kind of have a Boise State feel).

I'm kind of confused about Oregon, though, and Boise State now. How are we supposed to gauge them? Boise seems better now after seeing how good Oregon is, but how good is Oregon after losing to Boise? Lol. It's a vicious circle of unknowns for them, now. Hopefully Oregon will end up playing someone like Alabama, that you know have a good defense, then we'll know.

Need I remind everyone that Boise State is undefeated? Also, when they beat Oregon they did so the first game of the year and by a slim margin. My guess is if they had another shot at them, this would not be the case. In fact, my Buckeyes lost to Purdue!! Who here thinks that would happen a second time?

Sorry guy, I simply have not seen OSU acheive anything. In fact, when my Buckeyes faced them in the Alamo bowl a few years back, it was like playing a MAC team.

It is my contention that the best in the Big Ten is comparable to the best in the Big 12. These two should face off every year in a BCS bowl. However, as it stands now the SEC and Big 12 will face off in the NCG and we will have another yawner. 😴

OSU has only been beaten by ranked teams. The only overinflated league really seems to be the PAC10. If Oregon had played a team with real D the outcome might be different. You don't really believe Oregon could beat an SEC team, do you? Boise St. could not either. Of the teams crashing the party only Cinci seems like the real deal yet even they have not really faced a real D. The Buckeys faced a very different OSU in the Alamo Bowl a few years back. The Buckeyes could not beat them this time around. Yet the vagaries of NCAAF are strange. Who woulda thought lowly Illini would hand their asses back to MSU! That one truly surprised me. The only B10 team evidencing true grit is Iowa!

A few years ago??? Come on, a few years ago Ohio State was a good team, but are they now?

Oklahoma State would beat Ohio State right now I believe. Their defense would rattle Terrel Pryor like there was no tomorrow. Ohio State wouldn't be able to handle Texas at all. It would be a massacre.

Anyone other than Texas, Florida and Alabama fans intrested in the MNC game? I know I'm not. Perhaps some general SEC and Big XII fans would be interested this year. But other than that, this year's NC race and game is a bit of a yawner.

Yeah for the BCS making college football so interesting.

Yep, they made it so only the three best teams in the country have a shot at the title game. What a devious thing to do!!!

Low excitement threshold, eladar? SSRI's might fix that although no1marauder probably bought the entire supply after wrongly prediciting every game. You did not get excited by the Ducks beating the snot out of USC? Then check your pulse. It's gotta be weak!

I said the best in the Big Ten and in the Big 12 are about even. Do you really think OSU is the best team in the Big Ten? If so, then you think they stand a chance against Penn State this next weekend I suppose.

I think Penn State could give Texas a run for their money.

You tell me. All I can say is that I never would have dreamed that Utah could have beaten #1 ranked Alabama last year. However, they not only beat them, they made them look silly. All I can tell you is that the best in the PAC 10 and the best in the SEC NEVER seem to meet. How then will we ever know? No doubt, we will end up watching an SEC destroy another Big 12 team or Big Ten team so they can all go pat themselves on the back and tell each other how great they are.

Edit: You do realize that Utah beat Alabama worse than Florida yet they did not even share the national title. In my opinion, they were the #1 team.

Go back and read what I said. You said Oklahoma State wasn't good a few years ago, so they could not be that good now. I said (using your logic) that Ohio State was good a few years ago, but they aren't now. You can't judge a program by their past history, rather you should judge on the talent they currently have.

With regard to Penn State, I don't believe that any team in the Big 10 could beat Texas at this moment. PSU and Iowa would provide the best competition. Now that is my opinion. The fact is that any team could beat any team on a given day.

By your own reasoning if they were not so good a few years ago they should not be good now. They are not good this year so they should be bad forever! What's Utah done but stunk it up this year. Utah was no more a co-champion that Boise St was in 06! I see it more the way the voters do. TX has steadily improved. Credit where credit is due! I was sure they would move up a spot in the polls!
