In basketball, the goal is only slightly bigger than the ball. You could park 2 Ford Explorers nose to nose in a soccer goal and they STILL miss it. Don't bother making fun of American football. It's like America. 6 seconds of violence followed by a meeting.

Good commercial breaks highlight of any American football game
As a former player I just love seeing those pro soccer players on the ball.
Watching great players like Messi is enthralling, but the skill level of all professional soccer teams is a sight to behold, coming across much better live.
