Easy man. This is average Joe. My OP does not mention an arrest or charges. So here we are. Could you not respond directly to what the OP says. And just for the record I did use the word illegal, because that is the word that was used in the news report. They were here illegally. You and I know that because They received these funny permits these funny waivers or whatev ...[text shortened]... r. You are both all over the place and cannot understand the simplicity of answering an exact issue.

Lol check the title.

I dont ignore anything. The things you wrtie here have nothing to do with the $10k that I ahve asked Marauder about.
Maybe another thread on that? TYhe value of education, etc. A good topic, but we all know that. Seems you want us to PAY for it, gets muddddled
Seems YOU forget the future value of Phd's inventing new technologies, like the internet and such. A Phd did that.
You don't CARE his student loan of 150,000 dollars was paid off but now because of that Phd, there is a new multi billion dollar company springing up from his innovations.

Make it make sense. Arrest 475 people but don't charge them or their employers with anything?

Just the government shutting down construction of a factory, nothing illegal?
They were expelled from the country.

Lol 😂

Gullible is written on the ceiling, mott. Look up!

How are the business owners going to build a factory if they don't even live here anymore?

Expelled even though they were LITERALLY working legally, higher end techs absolutely needed to put together the new clean room machines, yanked off the job by more incompetence by ICE and Vance AND Trump, AND Bondi AND Patel.

ooops, i have to move so fast with all your sensitive posts. Chalk up a win for catching a misstatement by AvJoe. I guess it is such a given that they were arrested that I dis-imputed it. Is that a word?

There is an old adage. There is a right way to do something and there is a wrong way to do that something. So the something you speak of is great and good, but you seem to want to get to it in a wrong way. I still don't know what you're saying, but it could be that you just want colleges to get free.

Why dont we see a HUGE momvement, other than from Commies, to have Harvard and Georgia Tech and Berea College in Ky be free. Is there a Bill in Congress? PleasemResearch and, instead of tellin us what you thiiiiiiinnnnnnkkkkk, tell us WHY it has not been promoted. Do us a good job on that. Can't wait.

You got a point I do not know why it seems to have ground down to a halt. Get Sonhouse to research it for us. I believe in speedy justice.

Here is Mott....he is on it, says they were expelled. I have been out of the loop. But didnt one of you say that they were not illegal,,,,,,or that they were allowed to work, when they clearly were not? I hope they fired the employer for promoting these illegal people. The differences of a lot of posts here is that we love our country, the other 80 % simply do not. Prob because Trump DOES.

Wait,,,,, ilooked back. I did not say arrest in my opening paragraph. I simply typed the name of the article which had the word in it. I did not think that I would have said that, I only speak of that which I know. Like Sonhouse does. He knows Trump is depraved, that is how he can write that he is depraved. One has to have that kind of background to post. i will say i was Half-Right!!!!

A lot isn't adding up.

Right. The half right part but what explains the other part where they have a months long investigation, involve 400 law enforcement officers, claim that the business owners were acting unlawfully, but then they go and arrest people without filing any charges or putting anyone in jail?

That's weird. They're letting them get away with crimes?

Mott says they were expelled from the country. I went to the Walker Cup and was away from the news for a week. So what IS the status?

"For now, the $4.3 billion Hyundai–LG project remains frozen.... Federal officials insist their probe targeted “unlawful employment practices and other serious federal crimes.” No charges have been announced against the companies.

One obvious thing here: you TOTALLY disregard the added value of a citizen who just got a Phd with lots of help, some from the government and such.
So he gets his student loans forgiven but you totally ignore a high competent person doing fundamental work.
BESIDES all the assemblers, technicians and so forth not brilliant like our Phd but are still adding greatly to our economy and that is ALWAYS a good thing.
I love the way that you and Marauder say ‘forgiven’ in all of your texting. You say the government ‘forgives’ a loan. In fact, the government is telling the borrower of the money that they loaned to them that they do not have to pay the money back. When you say the word ‘forgiving’, Sue and everybody cannot understand why you make a differentiation. Neither can I. Nothing new, doublespeak is your stock and trade.
