Can you possibly look at my scenario about $10k loaned by the fed govt to a person, who having used/spent the money, doesn’t pay it back? Easy premise.

It might be easier if you pretend this is just a general question on a bar exam. Or maybe an economics exam. Not one of those multiple choices they’re using these days, but rather an Essay exam like you might have taken in the old days.

Easy man. This is average Joe. My OP does not mention an arrest or charges. So here we are. Could you not respond directly to what the OP says. And just for the record I did use the word illegal, because that is the word that was used in the news report. They were here illegally. You and I know that because They received these funny permits these funny waivers or whatever all these things are that they hand out at the border. That tells me that they were illegally here. So we both can now agree that they are illegal. So why be so obstinate about using the word illegal. You’re getting as bad as Marauder. You are both all over the place and cannot understand the simplicity of answering an exact issue.

So, this issue has evolved to something else, it WAS about loan facts. The issue now, is, Why will Marauder not answer the question????

Not the issue. The issue is that you said a while back that there was really never any money lost. I am not about to dig all that up. You know it and I know it and that is all that matters. Susie does not have to know that.
You might recall, you never said that there was a loss to the treasury when the money was never paid back, I kept saying, there was a loss to the treasury, and you kept on with gobbledygook. Just like the ones you just write here. You actually go so far for some unbelievable reason to mention future revenue. What in the hell ….future revenue?
So if you are watching, you will know that the phrase future revenue has never been discussed, and of course, it would be totally irrelevant to this simple question that marauder never has to this moment answered. He thinks his writing about future revenue is an answer. He needs to say that because the money was not paid back, that the government lost $10,000. But he will not say that. Maybe you will say that?

You compare business enterprises, that make money, that hire people, that produce things, that add to our economy,… You compare that to someone who is just given free money.

One obvious thing here: you TOTALLY disregard the added value of a citizen who just got a Phd with lots of help, some from the government and such.
So he gets his student loans forgiven but you totally ignore a high competent person doing fundamental work.
BESIDES all the assemblers, technicians and so forth not brilliant like our Phd but are still adding greatly to our economy and that is ALWAYS a good thing.
