implants are indicator species to me. Reminds me of that commercial on tv where some guy driving an expensive sports car keeps yelling "Because I'm compensating, because I'm compensating", and some rich girl in a Mercedez yelling, "Because daddy never loved me, because daddy never loved me"
Just seems if a boob job girl was in the commercial she'd be yelling "Because I want people to like me, because I want people to like me"

I was asked in a pm how I agree with Palynka in parts and Seitse in
parts. Thought I'd clarify it here.
It's simple. I agree with Seitse that certain ideals are being pushed down
our throats, and I would be an idiot if I couldn't see that it has some
affect on young women with poor self images. I would also be stupid not
to realise that this is a ...[text shortened]... ess these can provide outweighs the wrong.
So, I agree with them both in parts. 😕

Edit: you do understand what "reminds me of" actually means right?

If you're attractive, the odds of you "succeeding" in life are greater. It's always been that way and it always will be. It's part of human nature.

judging people on their appearance is OK. You took as an example how
it's OK to judge people based on their actions and drew an equal sign
between the two clearly different examples.
Then you use TV-commercial quotes to further illustrate your point.
Don't you see the irony here? You are trying to make the point that
women with big breasts (whom therefore must have had breast implants)
are superficial bimbos by quoting the most biased and shallow source of
information there is. It's hilerious. Surely, you can see that (if it wasn't
intentional)?
Yes, I seem to have misunderstood your posts a great deal. You were
making a joke, then?

You've made up a bunch of stuff I never said. You are like Homer Simpson when he is forced to watch the movie about how great "The Leader's" cult is. After the movie he asks why the FBI and the DEA were running guns for the Columbians (which was not in the movie). He then apologizes stating, "oh, sometimes I make up my own plot"
Oh wait, sorry, I forgot I wasn't going to bring up comparisons....next perhaps you'll discount my post on account of it referencing a cartoon i suppose

judgemental is OK. I supposed you meant judging women with
breast implants, since that's the topic of this here thread. To make your
point clear you went on about how if someone claims to be a rapist you
wouldn't want to associate with that person, and in the same way you
wouldn't want to associate with a woman having breast implants (as if
that is even remotely the same thing). Of course, you're a really big
person, because at the same time you say that: "hey, if someone else
wants to swim in shallow waters", perfectly reflecting your arrogant and
pompous view on this, thinking you're so much better than those overly
self concious women who needs to have breast implants to feel good
about themselves. Right?
You amuse me. You seem to try and appear as someone who's given
the subject a lot of thought, but when I read your posts in consecutive
order, all I see is a very shallow person openly proclaiming to judge
women having cosmetic surgery as mindless bimbos with a lack of
fatherly love throughout their childhood. Your feeble attempts at striking
a point or two through catchy TV commercial quotes (which I'm still not
sure were an ironic joke or not) backfired, and now you're whinging about
how I somehow doesn't get you or something.
Well, I'm really not trying to upset you, but I guess I really don't get
your point of view. Can you, or can you not, see any other reason for a
woman to have cosmetic surgery than because she has a poor self
confidence, or she wants to be liked by "superficial" men?
Originally posted by stockenOf course there are many reasons why a woman would want implants!!

Thats why I said at the very beginning one must understand WHY a woman got them in the first place. If you don't know WHY she got them, then you can't make a judgement about her. If it's for medical reasons then fine, no problem...if it's just because she wants to be liked by other people then someone like me might question her motives.
What you do doesn't matter. It's WHY you did it that matters.
Isn't that just obvious and implicite?
Originally posted by stockenIt didn't "backfire". You just failed to see the alluded to concept. It was an actual commercial poking fun at people's motivations who buy superficial objects that aren't neccessary. IE, bigger boobs aren't neccesary (medical reasons notwithstanding) and a boob job girl could just as easily have been in the commercial.

I apologize for confusing you.

Evolution implies that we "evolve". Just seems we get stuck in our ways and say we've always been this way and always will be in the future.
dirtball it seems evolution itself has stopped. Or, using your favourite form
of expression: if you blink really fast, how much of your surrounding world
do you manage to detect? Moreover, how well can you predict the future
from that minuscule visual you just perceived?
Not to worry though. I have it on good authority that the next evolutionary
step for mankind will be mechanically engineered. We will be able to
program behavioural subroutines into our offspring that will prevent them
from acting shallow and such. The world will be a really happy, happy place.
Addition: They will however be able to eat meat, have sex and
enjoy a good fistfight every now and then. Otherwise they wouldn't be
human anymore. 🙄
