Pure "racial" profiling...No. But I do support the use of statistics and probabilities when assessing risk. No one seems to have any problem with male vs female criminal profiling. They all agree. As such, officers should exercise extra caution when dealing with males in general.

If the cops in Columbus had adopted Joe's "stat based" methods of discriminatory policing they surely wouldn't have fired as females are far less likely to commit murders than males and a female with a knife is a tiny fraction of murderers in the US.

I guess it's OK not to "profile" if the result is a cop killing a black in Joe Shmo World.

Seriously using "police contacts" is absurd; that can mean almost anything like Grandma wanting to rescue a cat from a tree. Those stats show that a black's contact with the police is far more likely to be hostile and re ...[text shortened]... bers you throw out, the more it becomes clear that police engage in discriminatory racial practices.

You've made clear what you really want; agents of the State to have virtually unlimited authority to harass, arrest and even kill blacks because they are "violent".

Based on what evidence do you make this claim? Do you know the nature of all 61 million of these police contacts? What were the circumstances in each...exactly? Do you have evidence the cops rode into town 2 million times and said "lets get hostile with these [ insert racial expiative commonly used in black pop culture]"?
