If Republicans were concerned about voter fraud they would've impeached Trump immediately after he was recorded threatening an election official if he doesn't overturn voting results. Instead, they still support Trump and he's their lead candidate for 2024.
Clearly, election fraud is not the motive for these laws.

As a working person, I have to have a valid driver's license, pass drug tests, etc. But many people can now vote without proof of identification. Democracy has been dead for a long time. Don't blame the Republicans. Blame the communists. The DNC, baby. They got the power and America is Done. You should be happy!

As a gun owner, I'll give up my right to carry when America passes legislation that guarantees my family will be provided for very well in the event I am a victim of a violent crime.

The Democrats are you are completely wrong when they believe that any idea to prevent election fraud is the end of democracy (as you said in your initial post). Election fraud is a real problem and methods that decrease its likelihood are actually essential if you want to have a legitimate voting system.

It is important that we have systems in place to ensure that only eligible individuals get to vote and that only those individuals votes once. The incentive to cheat is huge -- as seen by the millions of dollars spent on influencing people. To say otherwise is actually comical.
