For every animal you DONT eat, I'm going to eat THREE

One for my self nurishment
One to completely negate the animal you feel you are saving
And another one just to spite you

Now do you feel you are doing the animals a favor????
why would you do that?

There's a risk you're going to get overweight.

1) The meat industry is sickening. Small cages, rampant disease and injury, meat full of antibiotics and other mysterious chemicals, genetic manipulation, neglect, and abusive deaths.

2) People who eat meat are 50% more likely to develop heart disease, higher cholesterol levels, higher cases of hypertension, higher levels of prostate and other cancers, hi ...[text shortened]... rrible for the environment. I'll list examples once I laugh at the hate I'll end up reading 🙂
I think there is only one way the liberal community will someday wrap its arms around the meat industry and that is to begin aborting unborn animals and feeding them to the population at large. Laugh if you will, but you know I am right!!! 😛

If you ask me, they are all a bunch of twisted vegan loving elitists.

we are omnivores, not cows.

1: offer better conditions, not eradicate it all
2: people who eat excess meat
3: people who eat excess meat
4: says who? meat eaters(responsible ones) have a more balanced diet. therefore much more likely to have a better immune system
5: people who live in a sterile environment might live even longer. if you can call it living. rabbit food is not living is delaying your death and making your time on earth miserable
6: i agree with the first part. why the second?, you simply repeated what you read on a vegan site

Of course, that depends on the omnivore. 😉

God... where to start?

1. Nobody wants to live forever.

2. Vegetarians and vegans are whining, malnurished, pathetic, irritating, finger-wagging bastards. Nobody likes them.

3. The best way to solve everyone's problems is to eat vegetarians. That way the cows get to live, vegetarians can't complain and we don't have to listen to their insistant moaning about things which really aren't half as important as the price of petrol.
I'd like my vegan fed strictly with apples for a few weeks prior to slaughter. I'd then like to pit roast them stuffed with mashed apples and have them served with a nice cold Reisling. Yum.

As the Tubes once said: I was a punk before you were a punk. True story; I am totally a punk.

Perhaps gun laws ought to be changed to allow people to shoot another human being in self-defence of an innocent animal about to be killed for no good reason.

Btw, anyone who is an anti-abortionist but doesn't apply the same standard to nonhuman animals (who can feel pain, whereas a human fetus cannot for about the first 26 weeks of pregnancy) is a hypocrite.

Agreed. Kicking a cow is morally more repulsive than aborting a thousand foetuses (no sarcasm intended).

I agree.

Animals should be treated fairly , they are creatures of God.

Strange reasoning, what treatment do you suggest for bacteria and viruses?

I have often wondered why some people value animals more than they do human life. For example, the same society that threw the book at Michael Vick for dog fighting is the same society that allows pedophiles to roam free after molesting minors. I think perhaps it is because animals tend to how us love unconditionally as where human beings do not usually. In addition, they view people as animals themselves and cannot fathom why they should be valued any higher than any other animal life form. What say you?

Many of your points have merit---except for the obesity factor. The people I know who eat lean meat are far from obese. In fact, they are lean machines---athletes mostly. So that point is anecdotal at best.
I respect vegetarians, vegans, and PETA people. I only ask the same in return for me, one who has canine teeth for the sole purpose of ripping and tearing a good porterhouse into edible bits. 🙂

I say wouldn't it be great if some computer wizard could transfer all the money that comes in responding to Sarah McGlothlin's commercial, imploring us to "be an angel for a helpless animal", and redirect it all into one of the many save the Children's Funds---maybe UNICEF? 😉
