Dems have a plan. They hammer on it behind closed doors, 24/7. We don't do that. Too busy keeping ahead of inflation. And the thinkers will. The others, some on this Forum, will be buried by it. There are studies recently done that it may take an additional $5000 per year to survive. And y'all never write about Inflation, or the Border, y'all write about Trump and abortion. They are what they are. Inflation and the Border are yet to come.
Jump on the Fear Train! All aboard!

We understand you got nothing of substance to offer and so are stuck on scaring the bejesus out of as many white folk as possible, and on obstructing anything good in Congress.

I have asked several times what the "Republican" party platform and policy is supposed to be with ZERO response.

the republican platform is better known as the American dream…a chance to be any thing you want.

The democrat platform is to keep everyone poor and on the plantation under their thumb.

The out and out racism that right wingers bring to this Forum is truly nauseating.
you libs have worn that out…When I see video after video of a certain culture doing something am I supposed to lie about it like you do?

Nuclear families often result in atomized people.

It's a valid and not necessarily worse approach for someone to have children by several different fathers and for Grandma to help raise the kids.

Some value connections and relations more than money and material goods.
Im going to have to plead ignorance here, what is an “atomized family”?

Nothing can or should be done to "fix" inequality.

Society has a responsibility, in my mind anyway, to try to ensure each person has a reasonable opportunity for sustenance and basic human dignity. Society should also try to protect and support those unABLE to provide and care for themselves. Beyond that, it's in all of our interests to give each person a reasonable opporuni ...[text shortened]... eople in the world. It's a reality of society anyway. It would take extreme coercion to change that.
This is all correct. I for one say to pay total upkeep for the 40M truly desperate disadvantaged. Everyone else, simply take care of themselves. Libs really hate that last part. “ What about us,” they may say. How bout a new thread, to answer what about them?

No one wants to type it, since it is easily found in google. Look it up and get back with what about it you don’t like. Start with the part about independent. Sorry for you, though, I don’t think there is a provision for being dependent.

Yeah , but why don’t libs write about Biden border crisis, or the confused people of culture ( I assume they are confused) , or the impending misery of growing inflation. Raises increasing by 5%, but inflation up about 7% is not going to work. Thousands lost in family budgets. Hope no one had more kids than they could afford. What does everyone see in the future?

Aside from whether it's good policy, this decision is a disaster for the Republican party. The GOP was poised to clean up in November, but this will hurt. It will galvanize the left, while doing little to galvanize the right.

I've always been very ambivalent on the issue. I can truly see both sides. But where we are right now as a society, outlawing abortion (in any state) do ...[text shortened]... ve bigger fish to fry, but are spending all political capital on this. It's pointless and dangerous.
The Republican Party has so far come off the rails that it no longer knows what it is to govern.
