I think turning the U.S. away from the far right might be impossible when the number one cause of death for children is by a bullet and the leading cause of death for pregnant women in the U.S. is homicide. Despite these statistic, legislation to control gun ownership, NOT ELIMINATING THE RIGHT TO HAVE A GUN, seems impossible to pass. Left leaning billionaires would have to pool their resources to fight President Elect Musk(rat) and the RamSWARMY. The U.S. has been an oligarchy for many decades. Now it is undebatable.

The Electoral College since the Reapportionment Act of 1929 has violated our right to equal representation. That should be fixed. As I said, "government should protect all our rights equally" and the EC does not - not anymore. Not since 1929.

I don't know if anyone has said it yet, but only when Trump leaves the scene will America find its centre again. Hundreds of op eds have been written about Trumps hold over America and who knows what exactly Trump offers his loyal minions except that there's no one waiting in the wings that will be as authentically angry about the way things seem to conspire against him and by association all his followers. When he goes people will start to wakeup and question why their education and health systems are lacking compared to the rest of the western world and will start doing something about it.
