Imperative that our country have strict rules for proof of citizenship, I don’t care how much trouble it is for such citizen to be able to prove himself. Before we relax the rules for a weaker persons, we need to change the rules, so the weaker person shall be able to get himself registered. Common Sense!!!! the bane of liberals existence!

Not what the story said. In California jury duty is pulled from voter registration AND DMV records. The latter includes driver licenses and identification cards. In California it’s possible to get the latter if you are not a US citizen but legally in the country. You have to get the information from reputable sources.

Make sense here. Can you make sense for a moment. Looking at the end result, someone has to prove who they are at a voting booth. Which would also necessitate their proving that they are citizens of this country., be it with a photo or whatever.

When I vote they ask me for proof I am who I say I am by predetermined items of proof. Nice to see you don’t want the fairest possible elections as possible by these silly comments.

These discussions are about a person proving himself to be a citizen when he walks up to a volunteer housewife or restaurant chef , accepting ballots at a voting precinct. They are requesting such proof , you see. Fair enough? Voting For the leader of the free world? To vote for that?

We have a lot of illegal people, we have other countries that have sent throngs Muslims etc) of people here to infiltrate our society and take over our country. That sounds like one of those conspiracy theories, but worth thinking about.

A remedial course in US History would help. This immigration issue is not new. This hatred of illegal people and Muslims used to be hatred of the Irish, the Italians, Asians and the Jews. In fact it’s only been in my lifetime that the hatred of Catholics has quieted down. Read about JFK’s run for the Presidency to see how Republicans used Catholic hatred against him. You are just the next wave in the hatred of the other. Think about it.

Well, we’ve been okay with it for 250 years and there is no evidence that indicates that there has been ANY more than a minuscule amount of non-citizens voting. Even that amount is based upon the number of people actually caught and prosecuted for the crime. Why would you try to fix something that isn’t happening?
