You seem to be talking about 2 sides of a coin or some such. My housekeeper cannot buy a boat like mine, but it is not in her budget. I think you are saying that a boat should be in her budget if a boat is in my budget. I think I have zeroed in on your query, your issue. So could you elaborate?

It's not a boat. It's an almond. You can eat it.

Almonds are really expensive. So is most other foods. No one has to buy specific foods, but they do have to deal with high food prices. Rich people don't even know or care what the prices are, but middle class and poor people are digging into savings accounts and using credit cards to pay for food. And then you have the gall to say that's a success?

I saw the headline of your linked article, but I think it did not have facts in it like my OP did.
Do you deny the govt figures, such as the census Bureau announcing the real median household income was up to 87,460 the highest on record dating back to 1967. There are many more great figures about our outstanding economy, I think I will post a thread on that shortly.
People like you and MB and Sunhouse and Susie ANNE and the ever-present marauder and Mac and paradox were probably the people that were polled. That is not meant to be funny, but if those were the people that were polled, they would all hate Trump and make figures somewhat skewed, to say the least. How do I know it’s not a bum loser on the street who is looking for free stuff like you folks do. So he would naturally vote the way you are presenting this.

Whatever. What does that issue have to do with the issue here. He is Rich. You should have answered. “Yes he is Rich average Joe. You got me there.”

Did you see where the income is up to the highest increase ever since 1967?
So as a socialist, everyone that caught the Trump train should have all been on the train. But some people did not jump on the Trump train over the last several years and did not make as much money as the people who rode the train and made money on the success on the cocktails of the people who are making all the money. Do I make sense now? I didn’t think so.

Sorry the boat analogy was a little bit too much for you, but that would follow, since you don’t understand this common logic and common news of the day.

As for the increases in wages/ wealth the point is that for many (most) people these increases are absorbed by INFLATION. People could earn $1,000,000 a day but if bread costs $100,000,000,000 a loaf then they won't feel rich.

Also aren't these 'men on the street' that you contemptuously dismiss going to be voting soon? They need to be more 'educated' presumably...

Basically it seems as though you have a highly 'idealistic' view on economics which enables you (falsely) to think you can ignore anything that doesn't fit with your preconceived notions about how the economy works. Many Communists felt the same (for different reasons). Pretty funny that you can't see this obvious fact...

You expect someone to respond to this post, it is all over the place. Why don’t you just say I am a socialist and I want everything to be like socialism. Then everyone can enjoy some $14 peanuts everybody. Every person, no matter who they are or how much they were, or don’t work.
Hey, you would be the best person to answer my question which not one of you weaklings whatever answer. Is any one person entitled to the labor of another person?
I am going to have to ask a psychologist why no one can seem to answer this question. I know the answer,, and maybe even you do, but no one ever answers with the answer.
