Wrong. This is a valid current affairs topic.
Claims of fulfillment of prophecies made in religious texts should be in Spirituality.

I think you missed the essence of the opening post [my fault]. Not interested in discussing peoples rights, or lack or it, regarding religion. Neither is it about what you, or me for that matter, believe about God and religion.

The topic is simply that there are Muslims who believe that the Jews are entitled to live in the Land of Palestine [in a separate Jewish state] be ...[text shortened]... will there be a realisation that the prophesies in the Bible and the statements in Islam, are true?
A further comment on your last sentence.........

If there was a way to drop the F'ing Bible and its F'ing prophecies and just sit down and make a darn deal, this could be resolved in a reasonably short time.

Lose the religion, for crying out loud.

Wrong... if the negotiators did F'ing understand the Bible, the Koran, the Torah, instead of trying to F"ing tell people to just F"ing made the dam deal, only then, would this issue be resolved.

Atheists cannot be good negotiators in situations like this. A man like you for example, they would shoot you and throw in in a ditch ... lol 😀.

First understand the parties involved, and know their beliefs
Then, find the common ground.
Then make the deal

[Excuse the language. Yours looked good, so I just copied your style]

The fairytale appears to be coming to pass. It is evidence that the bible is true and that there is a God. I repeat, here the bible accurately predicts
- the return of the Jews
- their ownership of the land ,,permanently
- living in safety
- their prosperity in a land people called desert
- their purchasing and owing the land around Jerusalem.

What is your evidence ...[text shortened]... g more, nothing less.[/i]

I have proof, what proof do you have. Spare me the emotional outburst.
"I repeat, here the bible accurately predicts
- the return of the Jews(...)"
Does it accurately predict when? Does it accurately predict who would be the owners at the time of return, who would help those jews return? No? then it doesn't accurately predict a damn thing.

If i predict someone is going to get punched in the face and then drive to their house and punch them in the face i am not the new oracle of delphi

This isn't a grand divine plan. It is simply the work of crazy american christian evangelicals who want to fulfill the ramblings of some wacko thousands of years ago about the end times. End times where everybody except christians get killed horribly them condemned to eternal suffering.

"What is your evidence that the bible is ... [i]a human mental construct. A fairytale. "
Aside for the scientifical impossibilities and the reprehensible moral directives?
There are so many but my favourite must be the story about some kids calling elijah a baldy and elijah asking god to punish those kids which god does, with bears eating said kids.

That is sufficient for me to dismiss the bible to the garbage bin.

"I have proof, what proof do you have. Spare me the emotional outburst."
"guy at church said so" is not proof.

A prophecy does not need a timestamp to be fulfilled.
Thanks for the rest of your post. No comments there.

This is the reason why many knowledgeable Muslims, Imams, clerics and others who understand Judaism are careful about interfering with Israel. It is the reason why Palestinians are not happy with the level of support from some of their Arab neighbours. Here it is, just one of many in the bible:

[i]I am going to gather the people from all the countries where I have scatter ...[text shortened]... ar of these people, because as far as they are concerned if you fight the Jews you are fighting God.
What do you think of this part (Jeremiah 30-33):

30 “The people of Israel and Judah have done nothing but evil in my sight from their youth; indeed, the people of Israel have done nothing but arouse my anger with what their hands have made, declares the Lord. 31 From the day it was built until now, this city has so aroused my anger and wrath that I must remove it from my sight. 32 The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done—they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem. 33 They turned their backs to me and not their faces; though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.

Also, where are the Babylonians in all this?

40 The people are saying that this land will be like a desert where neither people nor animals live, and that it will be given over to the Babylonians.

What are your thoughts on this:

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/israel-destroys-nature-reserve-uproots-10-000-trees/2125305

The Israeli army on Wednesday destroyed a natural reserve and uprooted at least 10,000 trees in a military campaign in the northern West Bank in a move that Palestinians termed a "crime."

Moataz Bisharat, who is responsible for monitoring Israeli settlement activity in the Jordan Valley, told Anadolu Agency that the occupation army pushed military vehicles and dozens of soldiers into the Ainun area in Tubas city in the morning and destroyed a nature reserve built on an area of about 400 dunums (98 acres).

The occupation army "chopped down and destroyed about 10,000 forest trees and about 300 olive trees,” he said.

Deuteronomy 20:19 When you lay siege to a city for a long time, fighting against it to capture it, do not destroy its trees by putting an ax to them, because you can eat their fruit. Do not cut them down. Are the trees people, that you should besiege them?

Israel is breaking God's laws of war...

First off,
These Scriptures refer to the return of the Israelites from exile in Babylon after 70 years; back to the destruction of their Jerusalem in 586 BC. God is encouraging them. Then, King Cyrus of the Babylonians gives the Jews all the materials to rebuild Jerusalem.
Yes, Israel will remain when Jesus comes back.

Second off:
Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Muslims also pray to, and, worship Jesus. They have a, no-work, fasting holiday, every year with all prayers and worship going to Jesus.

I'm sure you know the Scripture that says: "ANYone who calls on the NAME of the Lord will be saved."
Muslims = Ishmael's descendants= Abraham's Decedents.
Jews= Isaac's descendants= Abraham's Descendants.
Both are highly Blessed by God. Go read the Blessing's that God gave Ishmael's mother about Ishmael and his descendants today. You can also read here the enmity God puts between Ishmael and Isaac. God says here that it will always be. It's in the Bible Right after God told Abraham to send out Ishmael and his mother; this made Abraham sad since Ishmael was his favorite son.

Most Muslims have no problems with Christians. It's only the far-right who are full of nothing but hatred..
Most Christians have no problems with Muslims (the smart ones, as you say), it only the far-right that's full of hatred.

Either way, you should be able to understand the Palestinians anger after this being their land and city for the last 2000 years. I personally believe that BOTH sides could do much better towards acquiring peace. Especially Israel with their military power.

Jesus is a Great Prophet of Islam. He's talked about much in their Koran. "Isa" = Jesus.

Edit: You're correct and I was wrong here. 🙂
However, is not Jesus God?

Correct. However, they are both revered as Great Prophets. No human is Devine to them; only God. They do not know the divinity of Christ yet; as most Jews. They remain slaves to the Law; as the Jews.
AThousandYoung and you are correct that they do not worship Jesus; I was wrong. They revere Jesus as a Great human Prophet.
