@rajk999 said- they went into Babylon as slaves or prisoners, and were not scattered all over the world in many countries [i]..I am going to gather the people from all the countries where I have scattered them
Well this interpretation makes no sense given the wording in the passage: The Jeremiah prophecy says certain things which do not fit into your interpretation that it refers ... to the return of the Israelites from exile in Babylon after 70 years; back to the destruction of their Jerusalem in 586 BC...
- they went into Babylon as slaves or prisoners, and were not sc ...[text shortened]... anent]
So your interpretation that Jeremiah refers to the Babylonian exile is not an fitting one.
What scripture is this that you used? If you're going to use scriptures please reference them. So?

The Temple and Jerusalem were destroyed in 586 BC; then the Jews went into exile in Babylon for 70 years. Then King Cyrus had pity on the Jews, and he released them and gave them all the materials they needed to rebuild the Temple, and Jerusalem.
See how that worked? The same way that the Great Prophet Jeremiah said it would be.
@rajk999 saidif you claim the prophecy is real it does. otherwise you're just fulfilling the prophecy yourself.
A prophecy does not need a timestamp to be fulfilled.
Thanks for the rest of your post. No comments there.
Nostradamus wasn't a great prophet. He just made general statements that , given enough time, were bound to happen.
The book written by jews in a time where they lost their country "predicts" they will get their country back sometime in the future. Shocking.
@kingdavid403 saidThe fact that you cannot see where you interpretation is flawed means that you are brainwashed Christian choosing to believe what their church pastors preach rather than what the bible says clearly. That is very common. So I will not venture further with that.

@zahlanzi saidThe topic is about what Muslims believe. Do you think Muslims believe that based on what the bible says and Islam says, that the Jews were given that land by God. If so then it makes no difference what the rest of the world things about religion or the bible of God. My point is that the Muslim world is divided on the matter. This would explain why Palestinians do not receive kind of support from their Arab friends as they should. If they did Israel would not have had a chance to become a state from the very beginning.

The second part of the opening post I mentioned where the Palestinians are at after spending hundreds of billions of $$$ over the 70 year period
You and others keep talking about what you think about the bible and God. Its not about you. Please get over yourself and your beliefs.

My interpretation is historical fact that is recorded in the Bible and, all non-religious history that we have today.
what their church pastors preach rather than what the bible says clearly.
I am a academically trained Church Pastor with a 5 year Bachelor's Degree; my major was "Biblical Studies."
The truth and fact that you cannot show me where I am wrong, this just shows that you do not know what you are talking about, much anyway.
brainwashed Christian choosing to believe what their church pastors preach
I received two written warnings during my University years; if there had been a third it was expulsion. However, I was on the President's (deans) list during all the years while receiving my Degree which helped much. My written warnings were due to my refusing to accept their false teachings of the Bible; and, I did not budge.
So I will not venture further with that.
That's because you have no where to venture too.

I'm sorry, but what is the title of this thread again?

Well, at least you admit it.
I'm pointing out to you that the scriptures you used (Jeremiah 32:37-44 GNB) has not much to do with Israel today. The Jews broke that Covenant with God a long time ago. The Old Covenant is no longer valid since the Jews broke it.
The New Covenant is Jesus and His Two Commandments. 1."Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind and soul." "The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself."
How's Israel doing here ya think?.
That says what the topic is about
The scriptures you used have nothing to do with your topic. Seeing that all those promises by God have already been fulfilled by God a long time ago. It's past history. Plus, you were wrong about what actually happened when those scriptures were written. You are ill informed. Muslims today do not feel that fighting against the Jews is the same as fighting against God. Especially not because of the scriptures you used. Most normal people fear war, not just Muslims.

@rajk999 saidYou lost before you started because of your lack of knowledge. You lack knowledge because you refuse to accept the knowledge of truth and facts from God and elsewhere. Scared of what? A lying false teacher as you? Not. Good one tho...lol You're the one whom started this thread in the wrong forum, you take it to the spirituality forum like you should have in the first place. You seem to be the one whom is scared.

The post that was quoted here has been removedThe word 'ass' appears 80 times in the KJV, of which 3 were used by Christ. As for the whopping part Jesus did that literally in the temple, with a scourge made of cords. He also did that thousands of times verbally. What is your problem?
Apart from that Jesus called many people fools, hypocrites, blind, dogs, pigs. For a more complete list of insults from Christ see :
