The East Jerusalem issue in Sheikh Jarrah is one of property ownership vs squatters rights. One owns and another lives on, the controversial land.

But if there is ever a paragraph that that entrenches my lack of use for religion, the paragraph you provided would be a leading candidate.
The notion that someone, or some outdated book, tells me that I belong to some God that I don't really believe exists.
And further, that I should fear such a God, and worship that God ??
And in the absence of a reply directly to me from that God, that another person organization consisting of other people, can step in and claim that authority over the masses, in the name of God ?????

The topic is simply that there are Muslims who believe that the Jews are entitled to live in the Land of Palestine [in a separate Jewish state] because as far as they are concerned this belief is supported in Islam. As a result of this [whether or not you think so is irrelevant], they refuse to support the Palestinians in their cause.
The issue is the State of israel is now over 70 years. What progress has Palestinians made? At what point will there be a realisation that the prophesies in the Bible and the statements in Islam, are true?

Hamas appears to be motivated by what they see in the Koran. Other Muslims are influenced by what they also see in the Koran and from hadiths handed down. In this case Im trying to focus on Muslims supporting the Jews because of what their religion Islam says. Also the fulfilment of the prophecies in both Judaism and Islam, make their beliefs credible.
