I've seen two fellow teachers lose their job over the last few years. Can't get too familiar with the kids no matter how charming they can be.

My 2nd paragraph is quite clear, no need to be obtuse. But really, does not being a dependent upon the protection of ‘Big Brother’ give you a queasy feeling of not being able to take care of yourself? Of course, there are govt programs for the truly inflicted. But, are you saying Spain has programs to protect? How so? Protect against what? Marauder likes the socialists idea of a safety net…..we don’t know what he is talking about, …but is that the same thing.?
Answers on this would be nice, but I understand that being obtuse may be an escape device.
