Clearly that would be the end of democracy in the US.

You know, that part where only WHITE and hopefully RICH dudes can vote, cast out all black, Latino, Asian votes because ONLY REPUBLICANS are the real people and intrinsically superior to all those sub humans who THINK they have the right to vote.

We are showing them they are totally wrong.

ONLY WHITEY gets to vote, and ONLY republican whitey gets to vote.

THAT IS THEIR GOAL, FUK DEMOCRACY BECAUSE WE WILL DO ANYTHING AT ALL TO KEEP IN POWER FOREVER.

They better, else they may have to go to war against the Dems again to free people from bondage.

Or did you forget that the DEMOCRATS owned all the slaves in America before the newly formed REPUBLICANS waged war.

But you hug the Democrats.

You don't have to go back that far, all through the 1950's it was the Dems that were fighting tooth and nail against all the civil rights bills.
It was when Lyndon Johnson came along that they realized the voting potential of the minorities and started kow-towing to them, but even in the 60's plenty of Dems were dead set against integration, busing, etc...

Of course, that is true. I wanted to be brief. The KKK was created by Democrats.
They had Jim Crow and separate but equal as part of their national party plank.

the hangings in the 1960's in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and more. All democrats, all the time.

I think the Democratic party should be CANCELLED. Grievous heinous offenses to people of color for centuries.

But now, and get this.... (you too, Sonhouse, tho you pretty much know what everyone in the Dem (and Repub) party think)....
It has all gone full circle... Yeah, the Dems are going BACK to the plantation concept, making all the citizens of the USA slaves. Give them money, keep them idle, they run out of the will to prosper, just sit on the porch. I saw these stares on the faces of the cubans as I walked their streets a few years ago. Why work?
You libs cannot deny this. They are buying these pitiful people. The economy is booming.......can you tell us the logic of giving money to people in a booming economy? (Not you Sonhouse)

Even you aren't ignorant enough not to know that the Southern Democrats you speak of, like Strom Thurmond and Trent Lott, switched to the Republicans after LBJ forced through civil rights legislation. Their ideological descendants are now the backbone of your Republican party which has nothing in common with the party of Lincoln (most right wingers here vilify Abe and defend CSA traitors).

Except, after WWII, Democrat presidents like Truman and Johnson started supporting civil rights laws and that led to a mass exodus of racists from the Democratic Party. Where'd they go? That's right, the Republican Party.

About this, Trevor Noah, in 2016, said this: “Just because something used to be something doesn’t mean it still is. What matters more is what it is now.”

150 years ago was a long time ago. To use what was then to question what is now is a fool's errand. But that's how the right rolls.

And then in 1964, after the Democrat-created Civil Rights Act, the worst of them changed their party loyalty to the Republican Party and the GOP of today reflects that.

If republicans win everywhere it means democracy in the US has died already.
The republicans haven't won a popular vote in decades. The only way they can win at all is through voter suppression, gerrymandering and stacking the supreme court.

"What matters more is what is Now". I said that very thing about 2 days ago, to someone who keeps writing about Trump and the Trump administration. Like, that past scenario is germane now?!??. And every time y'all try to compare the two, you fall on your faces.
Which of the 2 would you rather be figuring out how to kick the ass of the China people for what they have done? You know, that country which tortures prisoners, and has to kill infants to keep their population genders balanced. And don't think for a second that they might not have done the virus on purpose, tho it killed many of their own....they don't CARE about human life anywhere close to the way the USA does.

....and the only way Dems win is to do away with voter ID, to get rid of the filibuster, and to.....oh....enlarge and stack the Supreme Court.
This observation curiously seems to mirror your 3 points above . WTF!???

If Repubs win everywhere, we can all go back to work and raise our families, with police protection, fair taxation, energy independence, small government, fewer regulations, and more forums on RHP.
And, an amendment to the Constitution to leave it as is, and to follow this hallowed document. Except for one thing, for ole AvJoe. Have 3 presidents, a triumvirate, not just one person. The responsibility is too great. Biden is a good example of how we need this. Admit it, folks, and watch him falter with Putin. Yes Putin has killed with his own hands. We could not sit in the same room with him, and we are a bit more with it than is Biden. I know I know. I hate it, too.
