Gene vaccines are not the same as gene therapy. There is no biological mechanism for mRNA to modify DNA except via the reverse transcriptase enzyme found in retroviruses. Without DNA modification there is no gene therapy.

It’s kind of like trying to modify a document on your hard drive by feeding hard copy printed paper documents into the printer. It doesn’t work like that.

You need a scanner to do that (reverse transcriptase).

That is how all of this got started. Shav claimed the covid vaccines (most of them) are not called gene vaccines. They are. I was clearly right all along. You moved the goal post. I didn't say they were called gene therapy, I said they were called gene vaccines.

Adenovirus vector vaccines do not alter DNA as ATY correctly said earlier in this thread. They are still called "gene vaccines" by Harvard Medical School and a government website says they utilize gene therapy technology.
