Absolute bollocks, in every corporation the CEO has his minions trying to take over the role, they all know there is only an allusion of this unthinking submission. they all wait with some degree of anticipation for the knife in the back. Many animal species fight, even to death to maintain the hierarchy. Obedience, yes, unthinking, Not on my planet. No hair splitting at all.
We, Man, "may" have controlled how the hierarchy works, but it is unavoidable non the less.
It's annoying that some of my posts are being removed for unknown reasons. I'll try to post this again:

(Shrug) I've already presented the anthropological evidence showing that Man in his Natural State did not live in hierarchical societies. Your refusal to believe it is your problem.

"Minions" is a good term; do you know what it means? The most common definition is:

"a servile follower or subordinate of a person in power."

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/minion

Being servile is expected of subordinates in capitalist organizations.
It was not and is not expected in a hunter gatherer band.

So you would rather have millions dead from covid and jobs lost forever because we could not bring ourselves around to make multitrillion dollar commitments to our economy and infrastructure problems and child care issues which is a BIG deal where poor folks can't afford child care and therefore can't get a real job instead of a 5 dollar an hour under the table ...[text shortened]... ly hypnotized by that evil WORTHLESS SOCIOPATH EX POTUS TRUMP.

He is EVIL beyond a fukking DOUBT.
"Bring' the poor folks in? Can't they walk in by themselves. We , the republicans I guess??...have put over 7 M jobs on the table,,""Have one, Mr. Jones. It could be difficult if you have more kids than you can afford, do you want us to take them off of your hands as well? We have child credits in place, you know." Help Me Rhonda.

Sonhouse, do you REALLY think it is OK to go to the home of a successful man and get all of his money to spread around? Just a question.

Sonhouse, Say Suzianne has an ice cream shop, and Duchess has one a hundred yards down the street...... If Duchess has a crowd all the time, making money, but Suzianne, who has 4 kids, is having very few sales, do you think the government should do something about that?? Do you think they should descend on Duchess and have her share her profits with Suzianne?

Should four children starve to death because their parents aren't good at business?

should 4 children starve to death because their ice cream selling parents were put out of business by a giant ice cream corporation offering ice cream at a price nobody can compete with?

I just love how all the right winger nutjobs just present all their arguments in the form of just 2 normal, average people, one working one lazy and be like "what, you want to steal the working one's hard earned money and give it to the lazy one" ?

This hasn't been the case for like a few thousand years.

Whenever someone complained about inequality it was NEVER about some dude having 2 of something where another one had only one. It was ALWAYS about some king, or aristocrat or dictator or CEO having a million somethings where most had one or none and that they used force to keep those million somethings and prevent the little guy from getting just a little more.

Isnt that an issue for another thread, where I would say we should indeed feed those 40 million people that are very poor and destitute. I have no problem with that. Everybody else take care of themselves.

But THIS comment above of Sonhouse wants us to go a step further? Maybe 10 steps? Stop our progress and go back down the road to ‘Bring’ them, when they (other than the 40M) can walk by themselves??

Do you have any idea what he means, given that our social programs, the Socialism with you often talk about, should be a gracious plenty. What else is there left to do? Give them or the illegals a room in our house?

I love this. A great analogy, but it will go no where, because I am asking you and marauder what would you do in this case, since you consider it to be not fair? No lawyering or economics, just common sense.

A HUGE post. To answer it in genuine terms would certainly enlighten us conservatives as to the mindset of the more liberal in the Forum.
Thankyou. Lets impress the moderator Russ!

You do indeed take from succesful rich and give to lesser earners. Bernie, Biden, Obama 101.

Say there is a 100-mile highway. 1 mile for each year of life. Buffet is at mile 90, bezos mile 69. My 20 yr old grandson is at mile 20. Should the government allow my son to run up to the 70 and 80 mile range and take money and stuff from thise guys? Note that my son has 70 or more years to do the same thing. Geez

And if you let people do that, why, by golly, they might get a bit complacent. The plumber would put down his tools. Do you think I am being funny? It is already happening.
My grandson will have to cut his own path. But you fellers, this does not compute, does it.

"No lawyering or economics, just common sense."
so basically address your points without using actual evidence, just "common sense" or better said, whatever YOU deem as common sense.

"To answer it in genuine terms would certainly enlighten us conservatives as to the mindset of the more liberal in the Forum."
ha! No conservative on this forum has ever been enlightened.

I have. Marauder will tell you that he bested me on a point we Sing about 10 days ago. He was right I was wrong. However in the way of enlightenment, I don’t mean to enlighten us to think in the way y’all do, to run governments the way y’all think we should, such as that. I’m talking about to enlighten us as to your thought process to think so differently than we do. That. Doesn’t interest you??

If I shoot a rabbit, i can eat it, or i can give it to someone who is less fortunate than me. That is my decision, and the reward is generally always in helping another person. The problem we conservatives have is that you want us to be obedient to a societal rule that tells me what to do with the rabbit. Am I wrong?

@AverageJoe1
First we check if you have a proper hunting license and if not, get ready to pay that 500 dollar fine.

"If I shoot a rabbit, i can eat it, or i can give it to someone who is less fortunate than me."
We want that someone less fortunate than you to always be able to eat, regardless if one day you're in the mood to give it a rabbit.
We want you to always be able to eat, in the case you have a bit of bad luck and can't shoot your hypothetical rabbits.
We want to stop you from killing a billion rabbits just because you want to brag to your other buddies that killed a billion rabbits that you too have killed a billion rabbits, despite the fact that you're not eating those rabbits and they just sit in piles in some rabbit fridge in the cayman islands.

"The problem we conservatives have is that you want us to be obedient to a societal rule that tells me what to do with the rabbit. Am I wrong?"
That's the problem we all have. Grownups have decided it is a good tradeoff to have society decide what to do with our rabbits in exchange for all the other benefits of living in society. Children think they are the only ones entitled to decide what to do with their rabbits, forgetting the fact that they shot that rabbit with a gun/ammo made by someone else, they skinned that rabbit with a knife made by someone else, after they are done killing rabbits they live in a house built by someone else and someone else protects the rabbit hunters from being killed/robbed by say fox hunters. That they learned how to kill rabbits from the rabbit killing school built and funded by others, that they drive to and from the forest on roads built by others

How about you grow the fuk up.
We live in a society, we all depend on one another. The price you pay for being able to make a living killing rabbits is paying taxes so that the multitude of people that you depend on can have a decent life too, including you.

At least I got you thinking. Your first para is all about what YOU want me to do, as if it is any of your business about my rabbit activity. If you want me to stop killing rabbits, I do not have to. So your statement falls flat. And what you say reeks of sponsoring people to be dependent. There are enough rabbits for everyone, why would someone think I owe them a rabbit? Do they depend on me for a rabbit? Dependents are an unhealthy lot.
As to the 2nd para 'built by others 'stuff, I paid for all that, including the road. So dont think for a minute that I am 'dependent' , because they are equally dependent on me to give them money for what they do. And then they come to my bakery to buy some bread from me. It all makes the world go round. You fellers have no logic.

Surely you see this analogy is about a guy who makes money (shoots rabbits) and the libs want to tell us what to do with it. You are all about that, aren't you. Weird stuff. I think I will tell you what color to paint your house, and man, you better do it or society will get after you!!!!! It is MY Business!!
