My point was that even though there are people who fit the stereotypes (and that goes for any country), most people don't. Do you see it as criticism of America when I say that there are some idiots living there? If so, you seem to fit into the American-superiority-complex category...

The post that was quoted here has been removedHe was reacting to my post where I said that I had learned here that there are in fact Americans who do fit the anti-American stereotypes, which I hadn't really believed before, and where I also said that I still believe that most Americans are not like that. That's not quite the same as saying that all Americans fit that stereotype, is it?
