My point was that even though there are people who fit the stereotypes (and that goes for any country), most people don't. Do you see it as criticism of America when I say that there are some idiots living there? If so, you seem to fit into the American-superiority-complex category...
I had posted my comment before I had read your latter explanation. I wonder though if you see it as criticism if I were to say there are hate mongering Jewish genocide supporting morons living in Germany and in Norway and that if so, you seem to fit the stereotypical Nazi-superiority-complex ...

They were shown on German TV, with the exception of one episode:

Ah, I have actually seen that one before, someone posted the link in the forums a while ago. I just didn't remember the title of the series.

And I looked it up in the German Wikipedia, it has been shown in Germany, too, as "Die Deutschen kommen" on RTL and as "Die Deutschen" on Sat. 1.

Hey, I was just joining in on your hypocrisy. Trying to be just like you.

No, I wouldn't see that as criticism. It's an unfortunate fact. If I'd say that they only exist in other countries, that would certainly show that I'd have a German-superiority-complex (although obviously not a nazi-superiority-complex).

He was reacting to my post where I said that I had learned here that there are in fact Americans who do fit the anti-American stereotypes, which I hadn't really believed before, and where I also said that I still believe that most Americans are not like that. That's not quite the same as saying that all Americans fit that stereotype, is it?

Well, golly gee I still don't see the word die. Maybe I wanted more Europeans to have lived. Maybe I wanted there stereotypical selves put in prison, maybe I wanted them to be castrated. Maybe I wanted them to eat ice cream. You fit the category of a simpleton who likes to put words in the mouths of those who don't say it. Typical European hypocritical propagandist.
