So hedge your bets by 'Tugging your Forelock' in the general direction of chosen Deity construct whilst behaving no better, or worse, than everyone else.

I love your post mikelom. It's this simple. It is the individuals choice. Sooner or later everyone has to choose a side. Which side do you choose? 😉
The side was chosen for me, in most of what I learned by observation and from historical recordings I read and studied in most subjects.

I believe most of that taught me the better side.... 😉

Volition?

Quote you, "With reference to the soul ,this would be a problem to person of faith, but I personally do not think it exists."

What gives you a unique identity? Your temporal body? With what do you perceive external reality? Your temporal body? With what do you hope and dream? Your temporal body? With what do you experience anguish over the loss of a loved one? Your temporal body? With what do feel compassion and charity? Your temporal body? With what do you pray?"

---------------

Say I DON'T have the volition to pray? Your volition is that I am still spoon fed, so that does that mean you think I am still parentally dependant?

Is free spirit really an imagination of 'soul'? That being, if soul was pre-implemented by a deity?

Move to spirituality please mods........ I knew somebody would take it this way, and forget aboout the infancy/pre-born state, that was the initial idea of this thread. 🙁 😠

and silence trumps all...

The purpose of a fishtrap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught, the trap is forgotten.
The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten.
The purpose of words is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten.
Where can I find a man who has forgotten words?
He is the one I would like to talk to.
