Charlie Murphy did not earn his fame and notoriety. He was serendipitously blessed with it. Eddie earned his and his comedy from the 80s is much funnier than anything Charlie Murphy (who was a nobody for decades) could ever repeat. That includes telling a funny anecdote on TV.
