I would. He's only "famous" because of one thing. Telling his Rick James story. And if anything's tired, it's that.
here's a funny story told by charlie

I think the Prince skit blows it away.

no, he's told more stories and he also has hosted dave chappelle's show
What? The two minute Prince story? And he hosted the Dave Chappelle show? 😕 Dude, he may be funny but to say he casts a shadow over his Brother who made himself (and eventually his Brother) a worldwide star by the time he was 22 is a bit goofy.

Perhaps Charlie is more relevant now? What's Eddie been up to of late?

im talking about the present, not the past; right now, i think he is talked about more than eddie murphy because of the chappelle show.

He was nominated for an oscar last year, and won a Golden Globe. Yeah, Charlie's way more relevant.

Actually, if he won an oscar that would only further preclude him from the category of "relevant."

Now that the Dave Chappelle show is kaput, what's the next step for Charlie? What are the big projects on his horizons?

Charlie Murphy did not earn his fame and notoriety. He was serendipitously blessed with it. Eddie earned his and his comedy from the 80s is much funnier than anything Charlie Murphy (who was a nobody for decades) could ever repeat. That includes telling a funny anecdote on TV.
