For what it is worth, I think that Michigan is underrated and Wisconsin is overrated.
It looks like it was a pretty poorly played game; Michigan again had problems holding on to the rock with 5 turnovers. But Wisconsin turned the ball over 4 times itself. It did come down to a missed two point conversion, so I guess it was exciting. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/boxscore?gameId=200809270029
When I was growing up in California and actually watched Big 10 games I used to think the dotting of the i was important. Now I live in Oklahoma and hardly ever see a Big 10 game at all, it seems rather insignificant. It is a wonder how the coverage your area gets determines what you think is important.
I'd imagine that SEC people wouldn't think much of it either. It is more of a Big 10 thing.

And Purdue sucks. Purdue lost to Oregon and have defeated Northern Colorado and Central Michigan.

Congrats. But there are roadblocks ahead for the Bucks. As an aside, the dotting of the "i" is maybe the best tradition in college football.
BTW, thanks for the comment about the band. You know, we may not have the best football team but by God we have the best band in the land!!
Originally posted by no1marauderI picked Wisconsin to win because of where I thought they were this season in comparison to Michigan, however, as I pointed out, history would dictate that it be unlikely that Wisconsin could pull it out which apparently was the case. As I said, going against what history tells us often proves problematic. For example, my Buckeyes are on the verge of setting Big Ten history by winning 3 consecutive Big Ten titles in a row. History would dictate that because this has never been done that it is highly unlikely, however, I can hope can't I?

Originally posted by whodeySo I guess I was 3 for 2 in my predictions. This gives me an idea, why don't we all create a list for next Saturday and have everyone make predictions? Sounds like fun, eh?
Predictions!!!
Purdue over ND
OSU over the Gophers
Penn State over Illinios
Alabama over overrated Georgia
Wisconsin over that team up north. It is the first time that Wisconsin has been favored while playing in Michigan. In addition, if Wisconsin wins, it will be the first time in over 40 years they have beaten them back to back years. Also ...[text shortened]... ld loose their home opener in the Big Ten. You know, I always save the best for last. SWEET!!!
