I'm genuinely shocked... what's going on here?

Rubberjaw got banned, too...

Can anyone shed light on these events?

Edit -- Both were 3(c) violations; were they harrassing one another?

?? I think it was his OMG thread, which was instantly removed and I don't have a clue what it was all about. Seems a bit harsh.

Yes that must be it, saying there's no Santa Claus was what got him banned. Seriously, though, what's to become of his clan if nobody wants to step up to the plate and assume leadership responsibility? I'm not gonna do it. Guess you never appreciate someone until they're gone.

Both these users were banned for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to: Linking to porn, continued swearing and swearing directed at a moderator.

People do not get banned after 1 offense. Both users had been in trouble before.

It got removed so fast only a couple of people saw it, must have been a doozie. I've reviewed DD's posts a ways back, they seem harmless enough, no cat fights with anybody, he seemed on good terms with everyone.

First time I had ever played against a Dutch Defense from Dutch himself and my game gets cutoff with a "banned player" message - It was a new and unusual opening for me - And he hadn't even flamed me out yet.
