Do a little reading or is it just Math you are good at?

One person shows nothing.

Perhaps you should invest in a stats course.

I am just saying that at US schools if a star player fails classes sometimes teachers are the ones held responsible.
In NZ and UK there are no sports coaches in schools. A teacher may
coach a team after hours (unpaid) but that is it. Sport is for fun. Anyone
with particular talent will play for a local team on a Saturday or Sunday.

That is a better system.

In the UK schools I worked in, most sports teams were coached and driven around by the P.E. teachers [as part of their job description] with some of the teams being coached by other members of staff [voluntarily].

We have the best Rugby team in the world and the best Netball team.
(Ignore the official rankings! ;-) ).

Not a bad T20 and ODI teams also (both men & women)

Our hockey teams are both ranked in the top 8 internationally.

Still no educators, at least ones willing to admit what they teach.

Many bozos and dip shts on this site, but few educators.

I have been an educator for 36 years teaching various subjects and skills in various countries including training and facilitating with education projects at a national level. I am a more experienced and longer serving educator than you, by far, you teaching sums and stuff to highschoolers notwithstanding. As for what I have taught, it is none of your business.

A coach is an educator. So is a classroom teacher. So is a lecturer. So is a trainer. So is an instructor. So is a tutor. Several educators have identified themselves to you in accordance with your request: some with lots of words, some with fewer words.

My job description, and the title on my business cards, is “senior technical instructor.” Been doing it 21 years. I teach people (mostly sys admins) how to configure Cisco kit (routers and switches). Not rocket science, but very nerdy.
