Nice! I started a thread about C2C a while back. Big fan.

Sweet vids. I think the visual aspect of C2C is what I enjoy the most. I don't think I'd enjoy istening to their music as much without the video.

Gotta respect the Star Wars scratch...

Xenophobia is soooo hip!

Ah, exactly what I was looking for! I got the idea that I liked French hip hop after enjoying the soundtrack to La Haine.

The Cut Killer mix (with Edith Piaf) is amazing, but the rest isn't that good. Solaar has a few interesting tracks, but also a lot of junk. I used to like him more than I do now, when I just knew a few tracks from him.

I don't get it. 🙁 Judging from the reactions, this seems to be very funny, but I have no idea why. I am guessing that it's a reference to something else I don't know.
I don't get it either. But then again recommended posts are usually lame jokes or some other stuff that's hardly interesting 😛

Have a think about French Military History and the reputation the French have.

I live very close to France and I have probably an updated feeling about the French. They don't do too much war around here lately so for me it's all quite different. Oh well, as long as the joke works for you guys, it's fine by me 🙂

Okay... So that's the surrender part. But what's with the flag-waving (that doesn't seem like a stereotypical French thing, sounds more American or Norwegian), and what does all this have to do with hip-hop?

White flag is the international sign of surrender.

There's a hip-hop thing about waving your hands in the air like you just don't care. Edit - apologies it's "wave your hands in the air, party like you just don't care"

It's funnier when it doesn't need explaining (or editing).
