I just cracked a Pyramid Ales Apricot Weizen. A great summer beer ice cold. Just a hint of sweetness. At the ballgames I like Pyramid's Curve Ball.

Bells Brewery's Two Hearted Ale.

It's my all-season, in season and out of season beer.

Also: Three Floyds Brewery's Admiral Lord Nelson IPA. Available only on draught at the brewery itself. Eeeeeeeyummayy!

It's been 100 here the last couple of days. 😞

Mine is the one in my hand at any given time. Although Sleaman Cream Ale is rather nice.

I've heard folks say "Beer? Yuck! Cider? Yum!" before, but those were all girls.

I worked in a pub for a while and the guys would oder "snake bite" sounds manly don't it.................it's cider and black current squash!!!!!!!

There is a farm down the road, makes all mannor of ciders very popular with older men 🙂

Now that sounds interesting. Okay, I'll look for some good cider next time I go to the greatest liquor store in the world, Sam's Wine and Spirits (here in Chicagoland).

Blue Moon White Ale is a good one, I can't get it here, but I used to love it on a 120 degree summer Phoenix day.

Really though, this would probably be a shorter thread if you asked for "Bad Summer Beers" since any cold beer (almost) will do you wonders on a day off sittin' in the sun. Even the Beast. Oh yeah, you know what I mean - 24 cans of crappy Milwaukee's worst - cold as ice out of a cooler while floatin' down a river in a tube.
