How many calories do you eat daily?
I've read that the average is 2000 a day but I find that hard to believe. It seems like way to little. Like a combo at a fast food place is anywhere between 800-1300 but usually around 1100 here and that's like half the calories and you can eat a combo in less then 1 hour!
I eat around 2400.
That double Bic Mac combo is really something. I just had to try it today! Well worth the $7 dollars.

I'm 178cm, 80KG and consume about 4000-4500 calories per day although I run approximately 80km per week just to get to work and do many other sports in my spare time (mountain bike, swim and rock climb).

I can't finish a combo meal at McDonalds, it is just too much food. Most restaurant meals consist of too much food in one sitting.
I like to eat smaller meals and then some snacks through the day. By snacks I mean fruit or vegtables or yogurt. That way I don't ever feel full because that is actually a very uncomfortable feeling.
I'm 110 pounds.

Indoor walls are great fun and necessary if you cant climb outdoors on a weekly basis, its amazing how quickly your tendons get out of shape :0)

Originally posted by jvanhineIts a great sport and remember its not all about strength, technique is everything. I can guarentee that all the best climbers at the indoor rock I use are female, guys tend to grunt and think muscles get you up the rock face....... whereas most females realise that flexibility, balance, body position, climbing with efficiency are far more useful tools. Definitely have a few lessons to get the basics for technique, then work on strength at a later stage.
