The American economuy is buily by ALL of us, even illegal aliens, but that does not excuse them from breaking the law. We need secure borders and a reasonable immigration policy. Both my brothers live on the border in Texas, and they say it is a mess....so, you are thousands of miles away in the cool Irish spring, so you cannot look at it objectively and comment accurately. Don't go by what CNN, BBC, even FOX say about the problem.....come and see for yourself....
Oh right. So you realise that the american economy is built on the back of the millions of illegal immigrants who work in the service industries, and do the jobs that americans deem themselves too good for, right?

The problem is much more complex than just "if you are here illegal then you are a criminal and period". It has deep, complicated roots in economy, history, law, human rights, international relations, culture, etc. AND it is NOT limited to Mexicans or, as I'm afraid some feel, non-white immigrants.
