I don't suppose a population cap would work, but in any case I can't imagine why anyone would want one. We need a lot more people in the UK, and should be trying to increase immigration and birth rates.
In the past they had a war or relied on disease to keep populations lower, nature will aways find a way to do this.
As for water being used pools instead of being used to help contries with water problems? well the problem is alot of these countries dont want to help themselves - they prefer to buy guns instead of food or build wells. you only have to look at what happened in the first 'band aid' gig where most of the money that we gave ended up in the wrong hands or used to fuel wars - this is why they buy the food and chuck it out of planes now.
While it is terrible people suffer all over the world alot of the blame needs to be pointed at these countries own governments.
I'd love someone to help me out if I am short on cash but it does not happen - charity begins at home.

Nah, it basically just means a stereotypical youngish petty criminal from a low income background.
An individual can not be made responsible for all the bad and all the overcrowding in the world - every person wants a better life and yes some of us take a luxury to the extreme and in these cases where people as blowing 25-30 grand on a car maybe they should have a conscience - but the average person is not to blame its up to the goverments.
All they need to do to help those worse off is donate 1p in every litre of petrol/gas sold or every cig and it would produce mass amounts of aid.
Same goes for global warming, all this recycle cra* is a waste of time when countries like the US and China/Russia are openly polluting the world - get these countries to cut down on pollution and global warming will be all but cured.
Nature will find a way to cut down on the population if we dont first - but the situation is the more people around the more hostilites arise and no doubt wars etc - it will never change I only hope it never happens in my lifetime or are kids
