Alot of things happening: Saxony is due to die this turn. England's demise also isn't far away. Sicily said something in his announcement about having to betray Venice, probably with his allies Aragon and Castile. Everyone is jumping at the opportunity to grab land from Aquitaine. Aragon already took some land from him, Castile is looming on the sea and France is also ready to move in. Hungary is finally eliminated, and Lithuania and Byzantium are already invading Venice.

The Turkish fleet is imprisoned in the Eastern Mediterranean by our combined forces! Once we ally with Venice our side will have a shot at taking naval supremacy in the entire Med!

Who is at war with Lithuania and/or Byzantium? Venice is one...anyone else out there?
Aragon, Castile and Sicily have said something about wanting to cooperate with our alliance against Lith/Byz, so I guess they won't welcome those east-europeans with open arms.

Schakuhr, Novgorod seems pretty tight with LithoByz. What are the chances of your alliance hitting LithoByz? Their forces are going to start concentrating in the southeast corner as well as near Venice, and their back is wide open for you guys to grab some easy land.
Turn is in.
A large Byzantine fleet full of marines and two Commanders were destroyed in naval battle with Pharoah's fleet. Unfortunately most of that fleet was also destroyed, and only one Medium Galley was salvaged from the enemy. Byzantium still has a fleet in the Aegean that's comparable to the remnants of Pharoah's fleet, while Sicily seems to have destroyed the Turkish fleet. Pharoah took Jerusalem. Despite consistent success, numbers may soon overwhelm Egypt; a lot depends on what exactly Sicily's up to. The Egyptian and Arletian fleets together are stronger than any one other faction's fleet in the region, which is a good sign. Tarabulus, AKA New Arles, is in danger from Sicilian Nomads and my coasts are in danger from the Sicilian marines. Battle details will soon follow.
