Probably because I told you the Saxon was playing you a long time ago and you finally realized I was right. Heather allies don't do very well; ask Arles, Roum and Poland. If you're not in the "in" crowd, you're expendable.
If all goes badly for me, then I'm the fool, isn't that right? That's fine, I'll survive and it will soon be forgotten about.
But you have no choice but to play the role of...you.
Bummer, dude.

Hey now, Khan, that's my line.
Geez, now I've gotta come up with new, slanderous diatribes.

I only signed up for the mead!

It matters to me when I get accused of deliberately creating a false impression by "creative misuse" of quotes. Since I clearly did not do that, the Saxon should have simply retracted his untruthful assertion.
You've said countless times in this thread that you don't give a flying leap what people say about you. Obviously, *that* was a lie, too.
Ok, this is getting not only ridiculous, but outrageous!
It seems I have reverted back to commoner status, losing a commander, and having one not be made this turn and losing an annexation as well...
Words cannot express my disgust at the GMs of this game... they screw me over again and again! By the time I'm done with these SOB's they're going to refund all the money I sent to them, stupid bastards...

P-
Maps are done.
Poland is left with only Friuli. England is on it's way out. Roum is attracting hordes of attackers who can smell the blood in the water. Denmark, on the other hand, is putting up a good show. All with a meager income of 16 gold. My hat goes off to them.
And of course, Venice has finally fallen. Looks bad for No1. Real bad.
Originally posted by rwingettNot at all. While Venice could not be held in the face of the huge Bavarian-Polish-Hungarian army, both Venice and Sicily's armies fell back in good order with reinforcements available. Poland has no provinces left for upkeep; how long can it's army - the only thing that tipped the balance in Italy - last? A combined force of Moroccan-Sicilian-Venetian ships and troops destroyed the Hungarian fleet in the Adriatric and wiped out the Hungarian invasion force. And Alliance forces continued to push into Roum.

Venice is still kicking with a large fleet (I got me two Hungarian Medium Galleys) and a growing army. Garibaldi is on board in Savoy. The counteroffensive is on the way!

Poland fell down an elevator shaft in the face of the Mongol-Teuton blitzkrieg. Well, he can console himself with the thought that he made it possible for Bavaria to FINALLY take Venice (which he could have done about 5 turns ago if he hadn't been so timid). Denmark advanced into Jutland, but left Scania wide open. Brilliant. Freddy took a pounding from Acquitaine.
