And what does that have to do with Roum?

Poland = Ally of the Heathers - gets attacked by YOUR ally. You and the other Heathers do nothing.

Roum = Ally of the Heathers - gets attacked; you think up excuses.

BTW, your ally the Mongols declared war on Roum last turn and took two of their provinces. Do you intend to send a strong note to the Great Khan?

There was an odd conversation between Rob and no1 in the NE thread about this sort of thing. No1 claimed that it would take 2 MP to retake a province that one owned at the beginning of the turn if it had been taken in an earlier Phase. Is this true?
Yea, but that doesn't matter because they don't use any turns getting onto the ships, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to take the province I took in the first place.

It doubles very conveniently as a cleaner for bloodied sword blades.

*As an aside, the Navy used (may still) bug juice as a cleaner of stainless steel steam tables in the ship's galley.

What I find most amusing is you are so absolutely sure you know what is happening.

And dont bother to ask, I am not going to explain anything to you. If you are such a brilliant strategist and military mind, figure it out yourself.

These guys must be playing another game or something. Seems like any one of them wants the other to get knocked off so they don't need to fight it out in the end.

The strongest couple of them will be in the finals, and that is all the strongest couple of them want. I still don't know how any of them sleep at night.

Sleeping at night would be foolish anyway. You never know when an enemy, or even a friend, may launch a sneak attack against you. You don't win war games by sleeping.

Why do you even bother to post in this thread? Read the title of it. I know you think you're some kind of subtle genius, but you've telegraphed every one of your moves from a mile away. My predictions and observations, while not perfect, have been pretty consistent with what has occurred in the game. Since you've had nothing useful to say about the topic of the thread and whine about any constructive criticism, your "contributions" here have been, and continue to be, a waste of server space.

No1,

I am very familiar with the title of the thread, the title of the game, how the game is played and many other things.

Ever think that maybe part of my strategy is to annoy you?

You might want to check the map; the armies and navies of Italy are in the same provinces and seas as the Mamulukes - we have not and will not betray them. We're not Heathers after all.
Good. I'm glad you finally said it so that we have it in print when you finally rip them a new one. Oh, I forgot, you'll just get another puppet to do your wet work... again.

The writing's been on the wall for a while now. Ask yourself just who do you trust? Then ask your allies the same question. We can all see your allies coming with more reinforcements. The question is, who are they coming for? Could your puppets be getting tired of your hand up their butts?

You made some sort of pompous comment a while back about betting who'll survive longer, you or me. Well, I'll take the same bet that I'll outlive your unfortunate Mamluke puppets...

And the last I checked, the game is not over yet.... even for me. It's amazing the clarity of purpose and peace of mind that facing your own oblivion gets you... especially if you somehow manage to live through it. 😛

Use your noodle! Many of these enemies of Italy were caught sleeping, but their 'friends' don't really seem to do anything about it. I know for dang sure if Doge or I fell on hard times the other would rush in for the support needed to a friend right away.

How this other coalition can sit back and watch their friends get beat down, not offer help... and sometimes even break friendships to kick a kingdom while it is down is crazy.

Again, one or 2 of the 6 or so is going to go all the way, and why the others let it happen is beyond me. They treat themselves and each other like any of them are disposable.

Doge and I alone have stood up to their greatest attacks, knowing what was coming each turn while watching their 'friends' get kicked around.

Fools!

You've shown little knowledge of any of those things except knowing the title of the game.

If the sum and substance of your strategy is to "annoy me" it's a worthless one. Unlike you, I don't take this game personal.

We all make friends and we all make enemies, Queen!!

This is a game of strategy and diplomacy. Subterfuge runs deep with every nation on this map. What it really comes down to is with whom your core Coalition lies... For some it seems obvious, for others...

I wish you could know what our forces do for each other. As soon as Doge and I got some more outside help I noticed a few of our friends lost some troops. I was grateful for their help, and offered anything I could do to help them ease the pain of any losses they suffered.

Your friends sit back and watch each other die off without lifting a finger. I don't see any puppets, I myself joined in with the Doge seeing him as an underdog going against a few kingdoms who wanted to go against him because he was 'mean' to you guys in this very thread.

You are all so tender, I will wipe away your tears.... Boo Hoo Hoo.

The 'others' being kingdoms like Poland and Roum. I call them 'suckers'.
