Here's something I came across with Viking origins that I find to be quite interesting:
Forecastle
The appropriate pronunciation for this word is fo'ksul. The forecastle is the forward part of the main deck. It derives its name from the days of Viking galleys when wooden castles were built on the forward and after parts the main deck from which archers and other fighting men could shoot arrows and throw spears, rocks, etc.
Imagine manning a wooden castle on a galley facing off against flaming arrows shot skyward by pissed-off enemies and falling in a fiery curtain all around you! Wear your asbestos skivvies!
Originally posted by eagles54That's what those Carracks look like. The galleys don't have the castles.

Please see my post above to KW. This is the Medieval Diplomacy Strategy thread; if you have something useful to add to that topic please do. If you disagree with my assessment, please give specific reasons why. Why continue with your childish fits of pique when I simply gave you some constructive criticism? Why keep being a bitch?
(And no, I have never beaten my wife, either. Jerk!)

All right, this seems funny to me...
One of the little pop-up adds we non-subscribers have to put up with had an ad for creatine, protein powders, etc. I wouldn't think that your typical RHP'er would fit the gym rat demographic.
I have a question which I can't find an answer to the rulebook.
If an army were to land in Kent in the 2nd phase and win in that phase, but then I landed a much bigger army which defeated his army so I was still in control at the end of the turn, would my troop building orders still work or would they have been cancelled?
