Like I said this "it's a big secret" crap gets old. We all can see the board and everybody here knows Poland ain't going to wind up with Savoy and/or Rome IF you take them. To say otherwise, is just ridiculous. Be happy you found somebody willing to throw away any chance they had of winning the game to help you, but don't count on such unusual occurrence ...[text shortened]... d effectively destroyed you in a couple of turns. He got what he deserved for trusting you.
How about if you plug up your pie hole until you actually have something constructive or useful to say?

"Your allies" - why does that phrase ring soooooooooooo hollow??
Originally posted by no1marauderSo you're saying keeping promises and trusting allies is contrary to having "a lick of sense"? Looks like the truth behind your "I am so noble and honorable" crapola is coming out.

I wonder how many players wouldn't?

Originally posted by Bosse de NageThat is, I think, a vestigial remnant of the same game engine that runs the Dragonwars game by the same outfit. In that game, there is a limit to the amount of the map that you can see, but you can share your map view (scout) for another realm.
Looking at the Headquarters page--what is the meaning of "scouting"?
So, I'm confused... IS this a sewing circle, or not? And how can I win a cookie?
Originally posted by Bosse de NageIn Dragonlords you have the ability to conceal certain units so nobody can see them. Other units have the ability to scout for concealed units. I presume that is what the reference is to. Dragonlords appears to be the only one of their games that has this feature, or at least the only one I've played that has it.

Originally posted by no1marauderOh, I have an opinion alright but you don't want to hear it and I sure don't want to enlighten you... then I would be the stupid one... sheesh...
Rather than running your mouth with childish insults, stop being a whiny bitch and give your opinion (if you're not soooooooooo dimwitted you don't have one). Your plan to attack Calabria was obvious when you refused to ally with Sicily as well as Venice; you're so transparent it's pathetic. Damn shame you were too dumb to get that turnfile in; it would have been a slaughter.
And no, my plan to attack Calabria was not obvious... at least not to you. When I gave my reasons for not needing to ally with Sicily, even you said at the time that what I said made sense and that you were satisfied with the explanation. I'm transparent? Then why did you have to be told about the invasion before you acted, even though you were already suspicious?
And for your information, the turnfile I did submit that turn did not include any invasion. I immediately scrapped the plan when you broke our alliance (and you call *me* transparent... a true thinking man might have laid a trap for me instead). I might be dumb (especially when compared to your almighty intellect)(haha!), but at least I'm not completely stupid, nor blinded by my hyperinflated ego.

While Tactics in this game may be fairly obvious, Strategy is not. Plans for what will happen 2 or more turns from now are the lifeblood of this game. Why should anyone tell you what they're going to be doing turns from now? I might remind you that in the few instances when you have done so, what *really* happened was far different.
What's it like to live in a little tiny box and assume that everyone else does the same? I could just see you as Hannibal... "Why the hell would I drive elephants over the mountains? That's a stupid idea!"
